It is basically just attached in the space behind the other double heddle block. I used a small clamp to attach it to the sides of the loom with a little bit of foam just to protect the wood.
If you are open to suggestions, I would love to see more weaving videos. I don't have a loom yet but would like to learn more to figure out what my best options are. (We have dorset sheep too)

You maybe already know that the older Ashford looms came with a single block and some people have swapped it over to a double block and so may be willing to sell the single
Thank you for this video. When i have 2 heddles in the down position i don't have a clean shed, i have like 2 smaller sheds. Any idea why this is? Can I put my shuttle just through over the lower threads?
Hi thanks for watching. Yes, that’s fairly common on the rigid heddle just because of the path the threads have to take through the heddles. So if you have heddles 1 & 2 down just make sure you are only passing the shuttle under threads in the holes and slots of heddle 3. I find it helpful sometimes to place a pickup stick on its edge to help push the threads down, making it easier to pass the shuttle through. Hope this makes sense 😊

If people knew it were this easy to turn a RHL into a 4-shaft loom, I think that would change things. From your set up, it looks like a somewhat easy thing to do. How has been your experience with the 3 rigid heddles each having their own space to officially work from?? I'm so curious...
