Just went out and bought carrots, and was about to sit and start grating them like my mum taught me. Then I watched this, saved my fingers.

I've made this carrot juice recipe at least five times for friends and family and they are always amazed at how good it is. Most of them have never tired carrot juice, so this is a special treat for them. :)

Thank you. Living in the US and have forgotten many of the things I was thought to do at a young age. This video served as a refresher for me. Now I can make some things that represent the jamaican culture for my bf.

Ohhh, this is so good. I'm going to try it this way. My daddy use to grater the carrots indivudually, instead of using a blender. Love watching your videos. Dad was a baker in Jamaica. He use to make bun, duck bread, and yummy beef patties.

In my opinion, at home, to make carrot juice, after juicing the carrots, I use condensed and evaporated milk, vanilla, almond extract, nutmeg, and wine.

You can certainly do it that way. However, you will end up with pure carrot juice and still have to add water to make it taste traditional. I think most people are like me and have a blender but not a juicer.

Coconut juice(milk) Almond juice(milk), but the condensed milk like she said was to sweeten. Use brown sugar(organic if possible), or any sweetener you prefer.

Better if you grater the carrots with a hand held grater. It is the equivalent to 'cold pressing' and you keepin the nutrients. Press the juices out by hand! :) It's also great for the social bonding and you learn to appreciate it better. You missed out the nutiment/beer.
