Yo were right about everything other than Valkyrie due to the fact that they aren't lower to the ground. As a wedge is always gonna get under a horizontal spinner like Valkyrie which is exactly what happened in the fight. All Valkyrie could do is knock off the tooth and then just have no time to spin up and be clamped and shoved around by Quantum. Think a lot of people have underestimated Quantum either now knowing they won King of Bots in China or thinking that didn't mean anything. As Quantum is a top tier machine. Just got two very tough fights in Lockjaw who is hard as hell to get a bite of. And Deathroll who went 4-0. If they get like Tombstone in the first round it could be very interesting. As long as they point the face of their bot at Tombstone then their bar is very likely to just skip over it and cause very little damage. And if they can get a bit on Tombstone they have a great chance of winning. Seeing how Tombstone has pretty thin armor on the body with majority of the weight being in the weapon and internal parts
Only reason I would accept for Gigabyte not being in is if they had some of issue they couldn't fix maybe after the beating they took from WD as that is the only time I have seen them get that damaged. Sure Tombstone knocked the shell off but that's a quick fix.

Then the stern raker delivered and took hit after hit until the last remaining rake got kicked into its own weapon by Huge, disabling it. Nevertheless, HyperNoRaker kept on taking hit after hit, stopping the bar and ramming Huge whenever it has a chance to. At one point, Huge made a daring attack when it was about to get stern raked, and flipped itself upside down and charged into the raker, hopping over while delivering a down cutter blow. The fight goes on until Huge takes a wheel off of what was once the Stern Raker, and after a while, another hit takes it down. Railgun MAX: This is hard to choose. Obviously, Bloodsport ain’t cutting it since it’ll most likely get punted upside down or OOTA. Uppercut is a good contender to win this (although it can get tipped over). I’m choosing Railgun MAX based on the fact that it was never knocked out. Post Fight: Indeed, Bloodsport got punted out, and that cost Railgun its weapon and part of its wheel. Alas, it couldn’t move well enough to avoid getting counted out. Uppercut takes the victory. Blacksmith: Obviously a tank that can easily withstand a horizontal spinner like Rotator. Final week of fight night predictions (68-36), it's been a long road but here we go! Cobalt: Best way to beat a drum is with a disk, just ask Aftershock. Valkyrie: If Valkyrie starts inverted there's a good chance they'll disable Quantum's crusher. DUCK!: I can see DUCK! lasting until Yeti's weapon burns out, plus Yeti lacks control when going full power. Skorpios: Lock-Jaw's had some motor issues in their recent fights, I think we might be seeing this happen. HUGE: This decision guts me, I wanted to see Hypershock in the top 16. Hypershock will drive circles around HUGE, but they'll eventually get that one crucial shot. Uppercut: Railgun MAX's weapon has reliability issues and Bloodsport lost to an opponent similar to Railgun. RotatoR: Seems like they're bringing the dual disks back, so I think we'll see Blacksmith's hammer getting ripped off. Son of Whyachi: They probably did this because of the match against Poison Arrow, but Chronos shows what a powerful horizontal can do to Copperhead.
@@ryanamburgy2791 Yeti's more or less put the forks away in favor of the heavier drum, so that's where I'm giving DUCK! the edge. The heavier drum gives Yeti less control in favor of more power, which could let DUCK! sneak underneath him and win the battle with pure control.
Nighthawk87 I’m thinking for this fight that Greg Gibson might be smart enough to put the forks on, but honestly yeti has enough clearance for it to roll over duck anyways likely
I went 7-1 this episode, I really needed that, now I am at 74-33 and what a great episode with amazing fights despite no gigabyte which I heard was too damaged from their witch doctor fight to continue. I felt like I had a great week and that rumble was something else too, easily a top 3 fight
I went 4-4 because I doubted Blacksmith :/ (79-36) This was one of my favorite episodes, really happy that Quantum is in the top 16, sucks Cobalt lost tho.
@@ryanamburgy2791 i am not sure they will be matched up with deathroll but i bet they will be a bottom 4 seed but i do not think they will stand a chance against any of the top four bots but they could do okay against deathroll with the same wedge they used against valkyrie
@@ryanamburgy2791 i think quantum will be 14 or 13 but death roll will probably be number 4 so i think they will face death roll or witch doctor, neither of them are good matchups for quantum
I'm gonna try and guess the matchups for next week round of 16. 1.Biteforce vs 16.Blacksmith 2.Witch Doctor vs 15.Quantum 3.Deathroll vs 14.Uppercut 4.Tombstone vs 13.HUGE 5.Hydra vs 12.Minotaur 6.Whiplash vs 11.Lockjaw 7.Sawblaze vs 10.SOW 8.Black Dragon vs 9.Yeti
@@ryanamburgy2791 Yea I screwed up was gonna put Yeti at 11 but then realized they faced Whiplash in the first round last year so maybe producers will want some new matchup. Such as one of the best veteran drivers Donald vs the best new generation drives Matt. And also because Yeti one loss is a little bit better than Lockjaws as they went 3 minutes with Biteforce and Donald lasted like 30 seconds against Tombstone. I could easily see your corrections being right. As I do think Quantum is a better machine than Uppercut as its won a hard competition in China. While Uppercut is a rookie who had a fairly easy schedule save for Skorpios. And Minotaur is the better machine than Lockjaw. Just not sure if they will go with who has the better records or who has the better bots. I have a feeling it might be Lockjaw vs Whiplash due to producers not wanting a matchup in the first round that we already saw this season in Whiplash vs Minotaur. Also in the RE Mars event they had Whiplash vs Lockjaw so maybe they had that battle because they faced off in the top 16 like how they had Lockjaw vs Skorpios in this episode and also RE Mars. But that could be me just reading way to much into it.
@@brady-o-active1167 Two reasons. First being Tombstone has proven its a top 4 bot in every single season so far. While Hydra is a rookie. Second Hydra had one of if not the weakest schedule out of any top 16 bot. They faced an 0-4 Bronco a 2-3 Warhawk, 2-2 Free Shipping and a 1-3 Petunia. So they faced 4 bots with a combined 5-12 record. While Tombstone faced 3-1 Lockjaw and Sawblaze and 2-2 Rotator with the weakest bot being Gruff who despite being 1-3 is just as good as Free Shipping and is better than Warhawk and Petunia. Regardless the combined record of bots they faced is 9-7. Hydra maybe 4-0 but they have done nothing at all to impress in terms of who they have beaten. Until they actually face a competent spinner I can't call them a upper tier machine. Regardless if you want to put them ahead of Tombstone or not they are gonna be getting a tough spinner either way. Tombstone beat 2 top 16 bots and faced a 3rd that was on the bubble in Rotator. While Hydra faced not a single top 16 bot or even a bubble team.
Predictions but I heard gigabyte is not here because they could not repaint their robot on time, that severely disappointed me so f*** you witch doctor Quantum:valkyrie's spinner is not too powerful and quantum's wedge should absorb the impacts and get the lethal bite Yeti:I have a feeling yeti's drum will toss around duck Lock jaw: due to the weapon being the first point of contact and skorpios's last minute repairs, I do not think skorpios will survive what lock jaw has to offer Huge:you tried so hard and got so far but in the end it will not matter hypershock Uppercut: Blacksmith: I do not think rotator can really do anything unless they chop off the hammer which I do not see happening Sow: I do not see copperhead getting the lucky hit they got as poison arrow Cobalt: this is a tough one but I think cobalt has the design edge
Sound Phantom a few things A. Did you see Valkyrie vs Overhaul last year? B. BlackSmith? Really?? I think this is gonna be the fight where RotatoR debuts his super powerful discs and beats the crap out of BlackSmith(though maybe not KOing)
@@ryanamburgy2791 quantum can take some hits with that wedge as I have seen it take good shots with the wedge and valkyrie does not have good armor so one bite and it could be over, rotator's disc's are not powerful and may scratch blacksmith plus I am not even sure if they will use their dual blades plus it snapped in their death roll fight, this is an even fight but I think blacksmith's durability will give him an edge, I can not say the same for valkyrie
Sound Phantom no, the dual DISKS. And I honestly think a good strategy for Valkyrie here would be to start the fight inverted. That way the blade protects the body and quantum can’t get a bite off unless they stop the weapon. They can probably chop off the crusher this way too
@@ryanamburgy2791 I see that as valkyrie's only chance but quantum could still stop the weapon and bite, the dual disks may give him a shot but I think they will give out after hitting blacksmith and he will take control from there
@@ryanamburgy2791 Yh I know, but I still could've easily gone with the easy options of Valkyrie, Rotator and Copperhead, but I didn't. And tbh Hypershock was going to win that if it didn't die, if Cobalt had its wedge in tact it could've gotten under the weaponless minotaur and killed it (and the other ones really were toss-ups) so my bold predictions could've gotten me 5-3 this time.
SOW over Copperhead as we have seen what a horizontal spinner has done to Copperhead. And revenge for losing to Poison Arrow. Although I could see one good hit from Copperhead popping SOW up and killing them Rotator over Blacksmith As long as their spinner stays working for long enough. They should go with the double bar setup for most possible damage. And because the forks to me would be pointless. Uppercut to win the 3 way idk hard to predict a 3 way fight. HUGE over Hypershock despite the fact that Hypershock is a top 3 fav of mine. I don't think they have the top armor needed to survive HUGE. And I don't think the weapon is strong enough to damage the wheels enough. Will might have to drive a perfect match to win. Skorpios over Lockjaw using what I saw in the match at RE Mars to predict this. Lockjaw has had some motor issues in a few fights. And we saw Skorpios can hold up to the hits from Lockjaw. They also have the disk which does more damage where they only had the saw in the RE Mars Yeti over DUCK as DUCK can only win by using bots weapon force against them. Yet with Yeti the weapon never seems to do much damage to themselves. And its a tough bot to kill regardless so I see nothing DUCK can do but hope for some lucky break that kills Yeti. Quantum over Valkyrie as Quantum is more weak to vert spinners that can get under them and bend up the wedge. Don't need to worry about that with Valkyrie so I see a box rush coming them biting down and controlling the fight from then on. Minotaur over Cobalt Think the wedge might get ripped off again in this leaving Cobalt screwed and they have the ground clearance issue running bigger wheels in the Endgame fight that had no traction. So not sure if they have better wheels or have to go to the small ones that leave them prone to being high centered.
After a 6-2 week think my final record is 75-29 missed a few of the early science channel fights. My guess is they will do the entire first round all 8 fights next week. And then do the quarter, semi and finals the following week as that would be 7 fights. Last year they did half the bracket on one side and half on the other. But with 2 hours an episode instead of the final 16 being done in 3 episodes they can get it done in the last 2.
@@ryanamburgy2791 If I'm picking with my heart then Deathroll. But if I'm going with my gut Biteforce. But wouldn't count out WD as they were impressive being 3-0 but that win against Gigabyte was even more impressive. As never seen someone just dominate them like that. Usually they lose by just killing themselves with their own hits or making a mistake by running into the walls like against HUGE. But WD just came out and dominated.
I honestly think that you might be getting a 0 - 3 this week. Even though I would like to see Quantum in the top 16 I can't see them beating Valkyrie, there fights with Lockjaw and Death roll prove they can't handle big hits from a deadly spinner so I feel Valkyrie will eventually knock them out. As for DUCK vs Yeti, I can see that being one of those very close judges decision with Yeti coming out on top due to aggression being split and Yeti causing all the damage, kind of like in Yeti vs Free shipping. Now Minotaur vs Cobalt I know tones of people will disagree with me but I think Cobalt will win as I simply feel they have the better reliability because as we know Minotaur has had some issues this series but if Minotaur is working 100% they will most likely win after a big spinner impact.
Well... I think you’re going to go 3-0 for the third time. I’m willing to gamble for the upsets. Edit: Nvm I forgot the size of these bots, 2-1 at most. And-Wait... **Stares at Quantum Replica** Whose replica is this?

Nighthawk87 another boi who picks duck. I don’t see any fathomable way duck can win as long as yeti uses the forks
I went 4-4 because I doubted Blacksmith :/ (79-36)
This was one of my favorite episodes, really happy that Quantum is in the top 16, sucks Cobalt lost tho.
Ryan Agge Quantum is gonna get killed by Deathroll again XD
@@ryanamburgy2791 i am not sure they will be matched up with deathroll but i bet they will be a bottom 4 seed but i do not think they will stand a chance against any of the top four bots but they could do okay against deathroll with the same wedge they used against valkyrie
Sound Phantom I think quantum is #14 and Deathroll is #3
@@ryanamburgy2791 i think quantum will be 14 or 13 but death roll will probably be number 4 so i think they will face death roll or witch doctor, neither of them are good matchups for quantum
Valkyrie
Yeti
Lockjaw
Rail gun max
Blacksmith
Sow
Cobalt
Huge
Doctor Bright what about Hypershock/Huge?
@@ryanamburgy2791 huge sorry about that but huge definitely
Is it just me or are the Patreon fights nonexistent xD
Captain Mantine well last time I posted them early you gave me shit so fuck you xD
I'm gonna try and guess the matchups for next week round of 16.
1.Biteforce vs 16.Blacksmith
2.Witch Doctor vs 15.Quantum
3.Deathroll vs 14.Uppercut
4.Tombstone vs 13.HUGE
5.Hydra vs 12.Minotaur
6.Whiplash vs 11.Lockjaw
7.Sawblaze vs 10.SOW
8.Black Dragon vs 9.Yeti
Wise Wolf Tony yeti can’t be the 9 seed and the eleven seed. Would you like the eleven seed to be lockjaw instead?
I agree other than two things
1. Minotaur at #11 and Lockjaw at #12.
2. Quantum at #14 and Uppercut at #15
Ryan Amburgy How is tombstone ahead of hydra.
Predictions but I heard gigabyte is not here because they could not repaint their robot on time, that severely disappointed me so f*** you witch doctor
Quantum:valkyrie's spinner is not too powerful and quantum's wedge should absorb the impacts and get the lethal bite
Yeti:I have a feeling yeti's drum will toss around duck
Lock jaw: due to the weapon being the first point of contact and skorpios's last minute repairs, I do not think skorpios will survive what lock jaw has to offer
Huge:you tried so hard and got so far but in the end it will not matter hypershock
Uppercut:
Blacksmith: I do not think rotator can really do anything unless they chop off the hammer which I do not see happening
Sow: I do not see copperhead getting the lucky hit they got as poison arrow
Cobalt: this is a tough one but I think cobalt has the design edge
Sound Phantom a few things
They can probably chop off the crusher this way too
@@ryanamburgy2791 I see that as valkyrie's only chance but quantum could still stop the weapon and bite, the dual disks may give him a shot but I think they will give out after hitting blacksmith and he will take control from there
Sound Phantom well I was right and wrong and right and wromg
Dont have time to go over reasoning but:
Quantum
Duck!
Skorpios
Hypershock
Bloodsport
Blacksmith
SOW
Cobalt
FuturePastPerson I know you are bold but Duck, Hypershock, AND BlackSmith????
@@ryanamburgy2791 Yh I know, but I still could've easily gone with the easy options of Valkyrie, Rotator and Copperhead, but I didn't. And tbh Hypershock was going to win that if it didn't die, if Cobalt had its wedge in tact it could've gotten under the weaponless minotaur and killed it (and the other ones really were toss-ups) so my bold predictions could've gotten me 5-3 this time.
SOW over Copperhead as we have seen what a horizontal spinner has done to Copperhead. And revenge for losing to Poison Arrow.
Although I could see one good hit from Copperhead popping SOW up and killing them
Rotator over Blacksmith
As long as their spinner stays working for long enough. They should go with the double bar setup for most possible damage. And because the forks to me would be pointless.
Uppercut to win the 3 way
idk hard to predict a 3 way fight.
They also have the disk which does more damage where they only had the saw in the RE Mars
Yeti over DUCK as DUCK can only win by using bots weapon force against them.
Wise Wolf Tony Who is your pick to win it all?
@@ryanamburgy2791 If I'm picking with my heart then Deathroll. But if I'm going with my gut Biteforce. But wouldn't count out WD as they were impressive being 3-0 but that win against Gigabyte was even more impressive. As never seen someone just dominate them like that. Usually they lose by just killing themselves with their own hits or making a mistake by running into the walls like against HUGE. But WD just came out and dominated.
Great video! I hope, Hypershock will beat Huge, because he has done such a great job this year. He has earned to be in the top 16
TheBotBuilder I feel like Minotaur will get some air time, like the final last year
@@barangoal9056 yep, and Cobalt is a much larger spinner than bite force too
It’s gonna be a crazy night for sure
Duck really bad luck in matchups this year. 3 verticle spinners and a crusher
Veezy the bot that doesn’t matter. Duck still doesn’t deserve to even be in this. It should be Gigabyte or Free Shipping
@@ryanamburgy2791 I didn't say he deserved to be in it
What time did you upload this bc its pretty early in the morning
LDH07 RobotMaster he always uploads at 7 o clock
I always set it for a scheduled upload Friday morning at 7. The actual time though varies. This one was put up Wednesday night
Well... I think you’re going to go 3-0 for the third time. I’m willing to gamble for the upsets.
Edit: Nvm I forgot the size of these bots, 2-1 at most.
