TurboSpool it could be as simple as a coat of wax, as long as you do it on a regular basis. Or as complicated as spraying a coat of clear coat, of course the entire area around the headlight would need to be masked off. You could go as far as putting on PPF. The Rag Company has a better video on how to restore headlights. Good luck
The clay bar and polish step won’t necessarily remove the original clear coat where you won’t have to coat it; however, most headlights are not this easy in that most I have restored need to be sanded beginning with 320 grit and then stepping up to 600, 1200, 2000, and I like to get the full pop with 3,000 grit before UV clear coating with a UV cure lamp.
great vid, cant wait to try this on my truck. I plan on polishing my truck and i have jet seal, white light and butter wet wax. after polishing, is the correct steps to take in the order i mentioned??
Keep. It. Simple. Stupid. Lol. I've never heard it said that way. I might have to use that at work. It'll just be KIS though. Keep it simple. I work with some very emotional young adults.
Thanks for the video! This product and process might work fine for lightly oxidized headlights like the one shown, but what about very heavily UV damaged lights? Would several "rinse and repeat" sessions work for that or would the classic wet sanding followed by the above technique work well in those cases? Note: The product has a UV blocker/protectant in it. No need for JetSeal or other product - nice!
Hey! They are different things! Pad conditioner contains an enzyme that moisturizes the pad and maximizes compound and polish use. Clay luber simply lubricates the clay bar so it can effortlessly glide over the paint without scratching it.
So that clay block substituted the sanding part??? If so I’ve been doing it all wrong! I use 1000 grit then 3000 grit THEN I apply the product... does that bar work well with heavy oxidation and cloudy headlights???
On those particular headlights clay removed above surface contaminants, but it is not a substitute for sanding all the time. If the oxidation is thicker, crusty in nature, your 1000/3000 grit approach is better.
Might need to wet sand it if it's in worse condition. With my headlights I wet sanded with 1000 then 3000 grit then I just sprayed clear coat on you could polish it after sanding then putting clear coat or a UV resistant ceramic coating on
@@bstewartexecutivecarcare6953 wouldn't it be beneficial for them to say you need a sealants afterwards, because then that's just one more product to sell
Some Headlights are easy and come out amazing then some are m@#$#$ers.. and you can try anything you want, they just don`t get clear. I encountered ones with rock chips, deep scratches or ones that have a peel (of the protective film) , you can sand, you can use w/e product you want they don`t get clear. I hate headlights !!
You forgot to mention that once finished you need to seal it. Also watch your speed don't let the pad get to hot!
How would you seal it ?
The product has the UV protectant built in.

williamhoodtn it may but it would begone after a couple of washes. I'm not saying this is a bad product, just incomplete in the process 👍✌️
Also to mention that this is illegal in some countrys (e.g. germany).

Hey!
We recommend going white light, jet seal, butter wet wax!
This is flawless!
Happy detailing!!
Wow nice results. Beats the method I did on my car few weeks ago.
Happy detailing!
K.i.s.s method. I love it! No extra steps

So satisfying
Nice work 👍🏾
Thanks for tuning in!!
so pad conditioner is clay luber?
Hey!
They are different things! Pad conditioner contains an enzyme that moisturizes the pad and maximizes compound and polish use. Clay luber simply lubricates the clay bar so it can effortlessly glide over the paint without scratching it.
doesn’t it need a uv protection now?
The product has UVA and UVB protection in it
does any product remove swirl marks on windshield?
How long will this last ?
2 weeks
Crazy that only a Polish is needed to get results like that
Check out Headlight Restorer!
www.chemicalguys.com/headlight-lens-restorer-and-protectant/headlight-lens-restorer-protectant.html
How often is it needed to repolish the headlights if they yellow again?
what setting did you have set at on rotary
How long will this last without sealing

When is the part two coming?
What's the name of this combination?
Your new video should be hybrid V07 liquid wax I believe you guys only have one video Promote the product more Thanks you guys
If all you need is two drops can you sell me four drops instead of that bottle? 😋
David Schertz i think its better to buy it so you’ll have this product for years of use
They have a smaller bottle you can purchase to help save money.
Michael Torsani Yeah it’s not the money. He said you need is two drops. I’ve Got two headlights hence the joke. But thanks for the info
why you never do a proper yellow headlight...like go to junk yard get a propere yellow headlight to show how to get it clear
Thanks for the feedback!
Quiero ver un video como quitar las manchas de agua en los vidrios y la pintura
¡Oye!
Mira este video donde mostramos cómo eliminar las manchas de agua de la pintura y el vidrio.

Cant seem to get results like that not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Try washing it first, then claying it and then try with the product, sometimes using your hand could give you better results
Might need to wet sand it if it's in worse condition. With my headlights I wet sanded with 1000 then 3000 grit then I just sprayed clear coat on you could polish it after sanding then putting clear coat or a UV resistant ceramic coating on
I think you need to open up your headlight and polish it from the inside
Nice
Wow
Thanks for watching!
Happy detailing!
With it work similarly with a DA polisher?
Hey Peyton! Thanks for checking out the video. Yes you can achieve the same results with DA, a rotary is much quicker.
Why not wet sanding 3 steps before machine polish ?
That headlight was only oxidized no need for 3 stepping it easily cut with just a polisher
Because these guys are trying to sell products. And they don't mention the need to seal when done
@@bstewartexecutivecarcare6953 wouldn't it be beneficial for them to say you need a sealants afterwards, because then that's just one more product to sell
The best is to put PPF. Sealant or ceramic are not suffisant
No sealant or uv protection? Hmmm.....
It has UVA and UVB protection in the product
You forgot to Clay Block The Whole Headlight!! Then Apply Jetseal.
Where's Nick ?
