I swear I have watched hundreds of different hair tutorials over the past few years. Yours is the *only* one I've never felt the need to fast forward any part of it. Perfect lighting, voice, tone, pace, delivery, amount of information. No unnecessary fluff. Following.
miss gabby, i want you to know: i was sold on doing this style for myself when you brought out the PRE-SECTIONED hair with that beautiful texture and pattern; but then you did the ponytail at the end...and it was THEE most perfect ponytail of twists i've ever seen. this tut is EVERYTHING!!!
I just did this style on myself but now I am going to redo it using this technique so thank you sis! And come on body-yady! 😍 I’m newly plant based and into my healthy living so you have a new subscriber here!
Thank you so very much this tutorial! This method is definitely easier and more secure at the root! The Marley hair blends in well with my own hair. You just saved me so much time this summer!
Yas queen we're in the same boat! I occasionally search for inspiration from youtube as well to guide me through some of my installs. I hope you find this tutorial helpful.
Congratulations sis 1000 subs ayyyyeeeeeeeeeeee so proud of my family 👪 from my mom, sis, lilbrother, big bro dale, lil sis and what I got going on in life.
I'm not sure I entirely understand your question, so let me know if you need additional clarification. Grip strength and technique are fundamental in making sure the end result matches your desired look. This is why practice is important at first, and then you master skills over time. I demonstrate a high a mount of concentration and constant pressure to each strand as I shift the twist from my left side to my right. Or vice versa. Hope this helps.
gabbysqueendom thank you so much. I’m excited to try and your jumbo twists. I’m this video you did the length I wanted to try that is exercise ready and can really be simple and classy
Hello 👋🏽 the brand of hair I used is textured/kinky enough to loc on its own. However, it takes minutes to boil your hair to provide a solid loc to your ends. If you plan on going swimming or doing any activities where your ends will experience a lot of things and environments, then I'd recommend boiling the ends. Hope this helps.
OMG you have such a gorgeous face😍😍😍 I am saving this for when I wash my hair!! Also, how tall are you? I want my twist to be the same length as yours. I am 5’10”

Thank you! This style was everything you'll love it.
Beautiful job. I wonder if I could do this with a twisted base as oppose to braids.

I apologize for the late response, but thank you queen. I'm patiently waiting 🙌🏾 👑

I don't know if I missed this, but how many packs of hair were used?
Hi love 👋🏽 I purchased the 6 pack bundle, but only used 3 packs for this style.
@@gabbysqueendom8342 thank you!
Came out beautiful!! Next time I do twists, I’m going to buy marley hair.

Hi this is super cute. This is gonna be my vacation hair for next week! Did you stagger around the whole head, or was it just in the front?
Front and back.
Thank you for this. Your explanation was very clear 👌 😊. I will be trying this style on myself.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video how many braids did you have total?
Not sure at the moment. I might of mentioned it in my video.
Really wonderful tutorial. Given me the courage to try it myself and save some coin lol
Very cute style! Thank you for this. I saved your video for reference.
Thank you!
For the 2nd technique...you didn't take the braid out completely did you ?
This is a brilliant method
Thank you!
I got one question, when you’re twisting the hair how do u continue with the twist since they’re two different sizes?
I'm not sure I entirely understand your question, so let me know if you need additional clarification.

I love it 😻
Thank you 🤎
I’m supposed to be doing my hair tomorrow like this do you twist left or right?

Love this method I will be trying this today❤️
That's awesome! Good luck!
I tried both methods, first one works best for me cause my hair would come out and it was tangled up
How much hair did you use
Love this! How long did this last ?
Hi, I don't recall how long it lasted. However, you should be able to keep it up for 3 weeks or up to 2 months.
love it and I think this will be my next protective style!🔥❤ How many packs did you use
Hello beautiful! Tag me on IG when you're done with your install. I purchased 6 packs only used 3.
How many packs of hair ?
Hi love 👋🏽 I purchased the 6 pack bundle, but only used 3 packs for this style.
@@gabbysqueendom8342 thank you ❤️❤️
@@vaesvlogs you're welcome
Very nicely done!!!
Thank you!
Do you stagger the added in hair for all of your twists to create the layered look?
Hi ! I know this is an older video... hope someone sees this new comment! Do I need to dip the ends in boiling water to seal it?

Been rocking this style and turning heads
Can you wash your hair with this install?
Yes, you can. However, it could create frizz.
I love this video! How many packs of hair did you use?
Hello, I used 3 packs but I'd recommend 4
Very good and easy tutorial Sis! Thank you!
You're Welcome 👑 🤎
Very thorough tutorial tfs🙂
Thank you! ❤👑
is this safe for water activities?
absolutely!
Can I get a closeup or something
I try to capture as many angles as I can. Also a snippet of this install is on my IG page as well.
Hair cute and bawwwdyyy 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you! ❤ 👑
Love this method, Gabby! I will try this! How long did this take?
Ooops! I saw it at the end.
Hi 👋🏽, typically this style would take 4-6 hours. However, with breaks and other things that may come up I would say 6-8 hours.
Omgosh I have to try these 😍😍😍
Yes, these held up well.
How many? I missed it.
Can you use regular expressions hair?
Not sure
Very nice but do you have a third method without the crochet needle💖👑?
Not one that I've uploaded. Of course you can achieve this style without a crochet needle, but to make things easier I would just invest in one.
Thank you!!
You're welcome 🤎
OMG you have such a gorgeous face😍😍😍 I am saving this for when I wash my hair!! Also, how tall are you? I want my twist to be the same length as yours. I am 5’10”
👋🏽 I'm 5'7"
Beautiful mama. Thx babe
You're welcome!
I love the style but I just can't stand the feeling of marely hair. it feels like needles on my skin 😪
I presoak this hair in water and vinegar before installing. It helps with that itchy feeling.
