sorry to be offtopic but does any of you know of a way to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my password. I would love any tips you can give me
@Jakob Joshua Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Yes. I was watching another tutorial from a rather popular beauty youtuber and my gosh, ol' girl had a 3 minute video in the beginning as if she was a model in R&B music video. It was too much.
God bless you. You just saved me $120 I can definitely do this myself and I don’t have to braid. And I don’t no how too. Ppl charge out rages sometimes. But I don’t see myself laying $200 for a style. The devil is a lie. Thank you and I will be watching Moore. I luv kinky twist. A style that will forever be in style. Alwys
Thank you for jumping right into the tutorial. We all appreciate it. And ALSO Thank you for explaining how to deal with the hair when the sections are bigger.
Omg girl you are so awesome for this video!!! I wish you could have saw my face when you first started showing your technique girlllll.. easy peeezy!! Again thank you
Watched your video 8 times in a row and attempted it this afternoon. My hair is a bit too fine to do the crochet method, so I ended up braiding the root and then twisting. I combed out the ends so that it had more of a tapered look. Took me about 7 hours but I will curl the ends tomorrow. It turned out pretty cute! Next time I may split the hair in half and do more of a smedium size to cut down on the volume . Thanks for the tutorial!
Thank you for sharing, being detailed, editing to display the important parts and product mentioning. This knotless & bandless technique looks very professional. I appreciate your videos. Very helpful and encouraging! You rock!
Love this method! I've been practicing with bigger twists about 20. Ive done the rubber bands, braiding at root then twisting. Your method provided the most natural and tension free. Still working on tucking my hair a bit better but its come a long way. I added a curly piece towards the end. Also plan to soak the hair a e 20 seconds in hot water and air dry the night before for move movement. Thanks again!💜
That is so good to hear, Adrenna. Thanks so much for taking the time to provide feedback. I appreciate your support and I’m glad the technique was suitable for you.
I wish I saw this before I did mine! Absolutely beautiful technique! Your hair came out beautifully. This will be the method I use next time. Thank you so much for sharing!
This is the best technique I’ve seen so far and I’m going to be using it today on a client. Really loved the outcome of yours and you’re so beautiful 🥰💕
Thank you for teaching me something new today babe. Going through videos with my husband trying to decide on what style I want to do for my Birthday. 🎉🎂I believe I want to do twist but I wanted to see different ways to twist. I definitely want the ends curled. I also curl my ends when I get cute small box braids so yes I’m going to do this! Super bomb! Thank you for the knowledge! You did a GREAT job!!❤😍🙌🏾
I wish I watched this before doing my hair.. I used the rubber band method.. I will take it out and do this method instead✨ Thank you so much for sharing this video with us❤️✨
Tried this over the weekend. Here are my results/tips. I used 5 out of the 6 bags and I got the 12 inch. It took around 18 hours (split over two days) to do this. But at least part of that is due to my own learning curve of how to get the"rope" to twist right. For a first-timer I had to figure out how to get my fingers to work right. I also made the mistake of parting the sections too small. So it is SUPER thick now. I will part bigger next time. But I do love it!
Hi Carmen, (we have the same first name btw 😊) I didn’t get it on the first try either. I typically practice the technique on myself or a mannequin before attempting to do a full install just to make sure I’ve got it down pat. Good thing is, next time will be a breeze. Glad you were pleased with the final product.
Such a nice video. They came out really pretty. I just did an install this week but didn’t crotchet the hair in. That parting is what really gets me. Lol. But your tips were helpful 😊
My hair just got in I can't wait to do these I purchased 6 packs but if I can get it done with 4 thats even better I may try this method too they look great you did a great job ya just got a new subscriber ❤❤
Thank you so much! If you decide to use my method, take a pic and @ NaturallyEngineered on IG and/or leave another comment here. Really appreciate you taking the time to tune in!
Hi, Love your videos. No fluff just straight instruction. So which do you think looks more like your natural hair. The Marley twists or the spring twists?
Thank you for this video! I told myself I would never do crochet because some people I met in person with it look crazy🤪 lol But yours came out so beautiful! I will definitely try your technique for my next style! Again, thank you🙏🏾😁
Gorgeous sis! Cuban twist hair is my number one favorite hair next to the spring twist. Your perm rod curls are cute...some of the perm rods sets I see looks like a scary Shirley temple so I always skipped that technique and did the braid crinkles😂but you made me a believer.I don’t think I have the pink perm rods and that could have something to do with it. You saw on IG I installed some spring twist cause ain’t nobody got time for heat and doing hair no ma’am. Even though I only go outside like twice a week during this time 😫
Thank you, love! I don’t think you can ever go wrong with Cuban Twists hair. The texture and luster is amazing to me. 😭 Not scary Shirley Temple! 💀💀💀 I twirl the rod around the hair instead of actually wrapping the hair around the rod. I think that’s why it came out more wavy than curly. I haven’t uploaded a video in a minute because I haven’t been styling my hair that much. Refuse to over-manipulate my hair for the sake of likes and views. And your spring twist are cute! Thanks for your continued support!
Hello! I’ve I’ve used this technique for spring twists as well. With proper maintenance the style can list 6-8 weeks. Here are the vide links. ua-cam.com/video/JUCHTH32apc/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/1vOmtrRFGk0/v-deo.html
How did these hold up? Without having the knot did they stay just as long. Could they stay for a couple months with this method? Also I have white people hair so Im wondering if there's a different technique I should try. Thank you!!
I’ve kept these in for 8-12 weeks with no issues. As long as your initial plaits are secure and you split your hair as instructed, there’s no way for it to slip. This technique will probably be best for your hair type.
Hello! I have a total is 60 twists . I tapered the ends by brushing them out which kept them from unraveling. The hot water set also helped to seal the ends.
@@NaturallyEngineered Thanks! I was trying an installation of Havana Twist using this same type of hair and I gave up after two rows because the ends were unraveling on me! The style is so beautiful because you can add curls so I really want to try it again. Currently installing twist using 18" Corkscrew by Lulutress but I want to change it up a bit.
Thanks so much for tuning in! If you decide to try this method, leave a comment down below letting me know how it turned out!

Hi, Love your videos. No fluff just straight instruction. So which do you think looks more like your natural hair. The Marley twists or the spring twists?
Hello! Thank you so much!
That’s a tough one but I’d have to say the Marley twists.

APTTMH ! GREAT tutorial! I may have missed it, how long did it take you Sis?
I think it took about 5-6 hours.
Thank you soo much for this video!!!!
So good! I love it!!
Thanks!
Love it, you did a great job. Definitely going to try this style soon 😊
Thanks so much 😊
This method is so simple ! How do you take it out w/o cutting your own hair?
Just cut the ends and unravel.
I like your videos cece
Hey, Maddi!! Thanks for watching my videos! Love you!
The look is fabulous, my question is do let the hair dry before you take out the rods?
Thank you! I allowed the hair to cool down prior to removing the rods. They weren’t 100% dry.
@@NaturallyEngineered thank you

Beautiful ❤️
Thank you!
Very nice and beautiful
Thank you!
Thank you so much for this
You’re welcome!
Such a great tutorial! Thank you sis! Doing my hair with your method tomorrow!! Came out beautiful 😍💯💕
Thank you!
How long did it take?
Did you blow dry your hair?
If i dont have one is ok to flat iron?
How many parts for the middle row?
Yes, my hair is blown out. If you don’t have a flat iron, I suggest using some other sort of method to stretch your hair such as banding.
Beautiful job! Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
When you start the twist do you split your natural hair in two or just put it in one side of the twist?
I split it once I get beyond the point where my hair is plaited at the root.
I want to try these but with spring twist hair. How long would this typically last?
Hello! I’ve I’ve used this technique for spring twists as well. With proper maintenance the style can list 6-8 weeks. Here are the vide links.

I wore the twist for 2+ months. Actually thinking about installing them again this weekend if I can find the color I want.
Love it!
Thank you!!

Plaits instead of rubber bands. Smart

True! 😂
You are so pretty.
Thank you!
Did the texture feel very rough against the skin? I used another brand last time and it was sooo rough
Not at all!
so beautiful! do you know if you can do this same style with just regular kanekalon box braid hair? thanks in advance
Hello! Thanks so much!
Yes, you can.
NaturallyEngineered thank you so much!
What’s that red orange looking jar
Hello! If you’re referring to what I’m dipping the ends in, it’s a glass measuring cup.
How do you twist the hair?
How many backs of hair and how long did it take?
4 bags....7 hours including rod set
About how many rows would you say you had on the sides?
Maybe 5
Did you sit up a dryer or did you air dry?
I took the curls out once they cooled down. They were still damp.
What was the total number of twist and how did you keep the ends from unraveling during install?
