LL Cool J goes in soo hard on this right here! Only reason they aint getting more hits is cuz LL Cool J aint just watchign that short *on my channel* explaining how all these rappers out here be blowing up so bigv
Not just that. His flow is dope as well. LL is one of the greatest all around hip hop artist to ever do it. And he is one of the rappers who started Def Jam.
Timbs...check, leather jacket.. check...hoodies..check. Erm one final ingredient....Boom Bap check.. Ladies and gentlemen this is what you call New York hiphop at its finest. LL has always brought to the forefront the rappers we've loved. He pushed Keith, Foxy Brown, DMX, Mobb Deep, Fat Joe's careers in a big way with this performance! I miss this time in hiphop

@@danteholley9129 Yes he was controlling his breathing. That was my whole point. That's part of it. That's how you never run out of breath during your verse. But the level of ferocity and volume that he was spittin, the only way for that to be possible is to take breaths whenever you can. It was meant as a compliment to his skills. You can clearly hear it if you know when to listen.
@son goku says we need gunz another new fake dummy account you made Scarlet Bouvier LORD FRIEZA CHRIST A.K.A SAM RODGERS,Esiah watts. Get a life crack pot troll lol.
Just look at ALL of these legends on one stage. At that time...Keith Murray, P and Foxy were still young and new to da rap game which is why there wasn't that much cheer for Keith and P...but if they had performed this on Apollo in 2000...you best believe the roof would've explode with loud cheers. Rest In Power P
Thanks so much vancral,if you dont mind i would like to know a true fan much better so kindly drop your number in my mail so i can text you and get to know you much better llcoolj02200@gmail.com
RIP Mobb Deep's Prodigy, This is the best hip hop collaboration ever! LL, Foxy, Prodigy, Fat Joe and Keith Murray! Mr. Smith is one of LL's greatest albums.
I have to say Keith Murray started it off with his intensity and then Fat Joe took it to another level and LL finished it off. Bring this 90s hip-hop back please.
This shit gave me chills. I know the lyrics to this joint by heart. Hard to say who had the best verses; everybody bodied this shit. But if we’re keeping it 100, P had the hardest, most quotable shit.
LL coming in that sick Polo 🇺🇸 Tee chain Kango the fucking manyeeer. LL always been the Man. I kniw I ain't the only one who wanna be & look like Ladies Love
Always loved this performance and always thought that it was hilarious that Prodigy didn't rap half his verse because it was a diss to the Def Squad. All time classic song by some of my favorites.
R.I.P FEARLESS THE REALEST ONE OF THE GREATEST LYRICISTS OF ALL TIME I.M.O SO GLAD TO HAVE GROWN UP LISTENING TO MOBB DEEP BECAUSE WITHOUT P THERE WOULD BE NO DEE! THATS ME. MOTIVATION UNTIL THIS DAY TO FIGHT THROUGH MY HEALTH ISSUES. PRODIGY WILL 4EVER S.H.I.N.E
*When we were kids. "Our parents just* *don't understand this music"* *Now as parents. "Kids just don't* *understand this music"* *If you're 25 and under listening to this I salute you 🙌*
Realize the history behind this performance/song. 1st Prodigy and Keith Murray were beefing at this time. Dont know if they fought yet, but Keith said he warned LL that he would attack Prodigy if he said his line about "fake niggas feeling guilty about this space shit", which is why either P or the apollo edited it out. Next, this was said to be a 2pac diss. I dont think none of the rappers were in on that, except LL. Knowing him, i can see him sublimally taking shots. If you listen he dissing his guests on the song, as well as Pac "I'll make it hot for you bitches. female rappers too, i dont give a fuck boo"...."whats up with that i shot ya deal?...now how that bullet feel...In LA they gangbang...Next time ima name names"....That was the Pac dis...LL wass vicious when it came to battling
LL’s opening line is “what the fuck I thought I conquered the world, crushed Moe Dee, Hammer and Ice-T’s girl”. That shit is a hell of a career callback while hoping in for final leg of a track. “Female rappers too, I don’t give a fuck, Boo” always made me laugh as well. But yeah, none of these rappers, most legendary in their own right, is gonna match LL on a stage. Few if any ever could. The verse I never loved on this one was Keith Murray’s opener, but in this live incarnation he sells it with his manic levels of energy. Not sure why he took the Branford Marsalis end of the bar off. When I first saw Fat Joe in the chair I thought he might be doing so for his own lack of conditioning like Pun in the J Lo video. Then looked around and noticed everyone was seated waiting for their verse. Too bad Foxy didn’t get to spit hers for maybe technical or missed cue reasons? I could hear her voice on mic fills before and after so not sure what happened or if LL just went once there was a pregnant pause after Joe was late finishing his verse. Always thought it doesn’t get respected enough that Foxy was a 16-year-old BK girl on a posse cut with some of the hardest veterans across five boroughs in the rap world. Foxy has a legit classic rap voice and went on to become a legendary MC. I don’t care if anyone feels differently.
This is what you call a hip hop performance. MC's MC'ing and rocking with the crowd. IDK what you call a performance today where rappers do stupid ass dance moves and mumbling live
LL Cool J goes in soo hard on this right here! Only reason they aint getting more hits is cuz LL Cool J aint just watchign that short *on my channel* explaining how all these rappers out here be blowing up so bigv

@@jmy2399 he still live among us.
Fuck eggs...... We could still have prodigy with us
Mohamed Ali hear the music mobb deep made about it its survival of the fitest its fire
I think people really sleep on LL as a live performer. His energy, breath control, and overall mic presence is second to none.
I think one of the best ! He is just under rated in all aspects of hip hop. His music is one of a kind .
Not slept on OR underrated... Its just these new kids are only exposed to trash..
He is absolutely sick as a live performer up there with Tupac and dmx
Not just that. His flow is dope as well. LL is one of the greatest all around hip hop artist to ever do it. And he is one of the rappers who started Def Jam.
No doubt man
Now THIS is a crowd. No cell phones or nothing.
Kids these times can't do anything without their phones.
