    Prelude
    Welcome
    Invocation
    Call to Worship Hebrews 6:19-7:3/Unison
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within
the veil, where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to
the order of Melchizedek. For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abra-
ham as he was returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, to whom also Abraham appor-
tioned a tenth part of all the spoils, was first of all, by the translation of his name, king of righteousness, and
then also king of Salem, which is king of peace. Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having
neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, he abides a priest perpetually.

    Call to Confession
    Silent Prayer of Confession
    Congregation Prayer of Confession
    One: Almighty God,
ALL: By Your power is Christ Jesus raised from death to rule this world with love. We pray Jesus rules in our
hearts. We confess we have not believed in Jesus, but fall into doubt and fear. Gladness has no home in our
hearts, and gratitude is scarce. Forgive our dread of dying and our hopelessness. Set us free with joy as we
celebrate Jesus’ victory over death, hell, and the grave. Help us to live in the liberty of Your grace, through Jesus we pray, amen.

From “The Westminster Confession of Faith” (6.013)
In the unity of the Godhead there be three Persons of one substance, power, and eternity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. The Father is of none, neither begotten nor proceeding; the Son is eternally begotten of the Father; the Holy Ghost eternally proceeding from the Father and the Son.
Hymn “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)”
