After initially being attracted by the watch strap leather interior, the 1.6 Prestige diesel was the worst car I have ever owned in almost 40 years of driving. A battery charging system that refused to charge the battery, a stop start system that refused to work, a £1500 plus vat plus coding plus fitting AdBlue tank fail waiting to happen, and a front suspension issue that a main dealer and two non-franchised garages couldn't fix finds me back with Hyundai and wonderfully simple to fix cars which are much more fun to drive, and less worrying to own. Never again.....Ds cars aren't fun to drive and aren't pleasant to own.
Please don't generalise...We own a 2021 DS7 Diesel which is an absolute joy to drive with no issues at all. To be quite honest: after 2 BMW 3-series and 2 Mercedes Benz, the DS is a relief at long distances: smoother ride, less noise and more comfort. Just a bit less sporty...
@@janverbanckI hate it when people generalize after a bad one experience with a car. Doesn’t make then all bad. I’ve got a 15 year old Citroen C4 and it’s great.
@@blakaeg M'y brother-in-law got rid of his Merc after almost 2 years of constant random shit. I never had any real issues with mine. Not technically anyway...
bellissima machina
