Again, another nice review. I purchased this same color Kitefin a few days ago & look forward receiving it. I really like the "etch-a-sketch" handle design.
I just ordered a Kitefin, a Saakshi and a Smooth Sentinel because I really wanted to finally get myself into the WE knife owners club. I’ve been very impressed with their designs lately as well as the value propositions they’re presenting these days. I may end up picking one and returning or selling the other two and I might just end up keeping all three if I really love them. WE appears to do a beautiful job with their marbled and shredded carbon fibers and I love the blade shapes they’re putting out. They’re offering a ton of high end value for very reasonable prices. I think Shabazz was correct when he said that if the Kitefin had come out 4 or 5 years ago, people would have been lining up to pay $400-500 for it.
I have one in blue titanium with the gold stripe. It's beautiful with a terrific fit and finish and although it disappears in my pocket, it has a pretty reasonably long blade. I made the mistake of stripping the pivot screw out by using the wrong sized bit and when I E-mailed customer service they sold me 2 complete sets of hardware including every single screw, spacer, washer, bearing, and the pivot itself for a steal! It was so cheap I got a second one and then they knocked off even more money for getting 2. I think I spent $20 including shipping and they arrived surprisingly fast. Fantastic customer service experience altogether! Super friendly and accommodating, they even gave me advise to remove the stripped screw. I will be buying more WE knives
My friend said it looks like this knife is competing with Hogue Deka and the Benchmade Bugout. Personally I Love them all. Thanks for the great reviews.
Iim new to knives, been watching hundreds of knife videos for the last 2 months and after taking notes and learning the knife world, I made a page of about 20 knifes, i would seperate them by price, and out of all of them, the kitefin was the first one I liked early on, and still want it even more now. As soon as I get an extra $160, I defiantly wasting it on a kitefin.
Awesome review! (To me at least) as a left handed person I find that as long as the pocket clip can be reversed, the knife is fully ambidextrous (minus the compression lock). I recently acquired a we knives chimera in the left-handed configuration and I find it a little awkward to to operate. Lol
I’m in Fayetteville NC and without holding a knife I cant make myself buy it so where can I go to handle a bug out even the any knife of this caliber??
Good looking knife. I really love that satin blade. The pocket clip looks a little out of place. If the whole knife was the same color/style as the pocket clip that would be nice.
I've loved the design since I saw it shown on some videos from Shot Show. the only critique I have is they seem to give up a lot of blade edge for that finger choil. And with this size knife, I'm not really sure you need one. I'm looking forward to checking this out at Blade Show (I hope).
Agree totally, this fingerchoil "thing" is wierd. With one the cutting edge gets so far from the grip that you HAVE to choke up on it to get control, but if you skip it you have control from the grip itself. Most of the times all that is needed is a small sharpening choil. (imo)
Can you do a comparison photo of this and the Civivi Praxis? The handles are different but the blade profiles seem identical. I wanted to see for myself how close the blades are in size and shape.
Someone definitely did answer you. Contouring is essentially the rounding of the outside of a surface. I usually talk about in terms of the scales or "handle" of the knife.
Just under $160 at BladeHQ, just over €175 at messerundco.de, so the difference is closer to $30. The markup on American-made knives tends to be much higher😟
Why do you say "You live in the USA" (4:05) ? I'm a Canadian living in Australia. You have a global audience, yet you think domestically. Think about it eh and cheers mate. 👍👍

I think you mean Spirograph instead of Etch-a-Sketch. ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1WsBsaUrrK1RkSne1q6ArVVXaQ.jpg

I like how you said mini bugout for athletic shorts. Both the Bugout or mini is perfect for that. 👌🏻 Great content lately 👍🏻

Just got this one in the mail today! Excellent little slicer! Fit and finish is top notch. Action is very good right out of the box. 🔪💕🔪
Bought this with the blue circles. Beautiful design and nice build quality. Slices great. Pictures don't do it justice for sure.
Just ordered mine thanks to this video! Thanks MC!
Picked up the black ti version from GP. Man this is a fantastic knife in every way at a reasonable price.
Good review MC 👍
Maaaaaaaaaaan the milling design on that brass model. If that was symmetrical I'd buy this in a heartbeat.
Love this knife looking for another flipper that's this satisfying to flip with titanium handles S 35VN for around the same price. Any ideas?
So it’s, a CIWEWE?

Looking to pick one up, but the subjector is interesting too any input?

Looks like an upscale Praxis. I can dig it.
Upscale backlash

I have really considered picking one of these up. When I finally decided both models I liked were sold out lol.
The carbon fiber version is available for preorder at BHQ.

Considering buying one of these in cf, not sure where to buy one tho
You can pre-order from knifecenter on the next shipment. I have the marble carbon fiber on order.
Blade Hq.. I already received mine about a week ago, then they had more up this weekend... so it’s another option
Best Ti folder / good steel / Awesome value / What else could a person ask for ?
What do you guys think about the CF/20CV models? They gotta be awesome too right ?
do you have any for sale
Yup gotta get one!
I bought the blue titanium version with skiff bearings brand new for $120

Nice blade at a good price very cool good review
Great looking knife but I never got an answer to the question about conturing and what it is
Someone definitely did answer you. Contouring is essentially the rounding of the outside of a surface. I usually talk about in terms of the scales or "handle" of the knife.
Sorry the notification never came up
This one looks slick , the handle to me reminds me of a snake
Perfect size for me.
Sweet knife, too bad the price is $50 ish more where i live than over there.

if it was bigger I would be alllll over this
I have huge hands... bigger than , and this knife is very comfortable.
