I am not sure whether to be impressed by her english fluency or by her depth of knowledg but this is the best interview I have ever seen. She got 201 marks in UPSC interview and that was totally deserving.
The skills she acquired from Eng Hons. is clearly visible in her communications. But that's not it.. her overall knowledge in every aspect is thoroughly appreciable. She is an IAS officer to the core.

She is purely diplomatic & smart . She avoids blunt opinion. Judge didn't put enough pressure by continuing on same topic even after catching her diplomacy. And she will be perfect IAS for every state/ central govt, because she is pure diplomatic.
That's definitely not a rare combination. All intelligent people don't want to do diplomacy with a fake smile and artificial personality all their life!
That fluency & communication skills are because, she is an English literature student, also she has participated in mock parliamentary debates. She has worked hard for it, nothing like this comes easy. She is brilliant.. The thought to mouth process is so fast in her case..

As an American citizen who doesn't feel like an American and becoming enlightened to the ubiquitous culture in other nations, I believe this woman and sentiment of democracy could really help America right about now. Her virtuosity with honesty devoid of ego far surpasses any deficits hindrance. It's unbelievably refreshing to see dignity and integrity to a greater good. My fear America hasn't truly been at this stage for nearly a hundred years. End stage capitalism and all its corruption has crept into every corner of democratic ethics. So much so that an entire population of people believe that a fiat currency backed by confidence ever waning is apples to apples with time that can never be replaced. A sense of self is only given gravity by those who witness it. Einstein's theory of relativity in a community sense helps shape a person and their principles. It is clear through this woman's interview that she comes from a community of people that believe in her while finding her sense of purpose further feeding motivation to a constant ascension. Simply beautiful. Thank you. For context, I did just finish reading 1984 which was haunting, so this was a nice turnaround. Thank you again.
But I believe the questions asked were more to say a bit biased, may be to get to know how she would tackle to get the right one. One on the Tomar dynasty, pandara road & one community given more stress to. . She answered it so well and with adequate knowledge.

I have never seen fear in her face, she didn't even stumble at any point in her conversation, she's absolutely a great charm to this elite service and she deserves it, I'm so happy that she cracked upsc and reached her goal

@u nd me! I guess it's just a stereotype of something that you are giving an interview for like the most respected government exam, so you have to be simple or no make up . Although the word government is not related to simple clothing , but as we feel that Indian clothes are more appropriate for temples , i guess there is common perception that simple and no make looks are more suitable for interviews for government jobs , as in pvt institute interviews everyone wears formals and do makeup nd all haristyle nd stuff . It's just a perception i feel , if you feel more confident in makeup then there is no prblm in wearing a light make-up as ofc you ain't going with heavy makeup to give an interview

Of course ,apart from her intelligence, knowledge , fluency in English, sheisbeautiful too. She needs to brush up her makeup, hair and choose her attire in sync with her wiry frame. She has excellent facial features and a friendly smile.
I have been binging on these mock interviews and made me realize how proficient and efficient they are, completely on a different level. I am actually addicted to their communication skill.

Although the word government is not related to simple clothing , but as we feel that Indian clothes are more appropriate for temples , i guess there is common perception that simple and no make looks are more suitable for interviews for government jobs , as in pvt institute interviews everyone wears formals and do makeup nd all haristyle nd stuff . It's just a perception i feel , if you feel more confident in makeup then there is no prblm in wearing a light make-up as ofc you ain't going with heavy makeup to give an interview

Of course ,apart from her intelligence, knowledge , fluency in English, sheisbeautiful too. She needs to brush up her makeup, hair and choose her attire in sync with her wiry frame. She has excellent facial features and a friendly smile.

I have been binging on these mock interviews and made me realize how proficient and efficient they are, completely on a different level. I am actually addicted to their communication skill.
The way she answered hypothetical questions was really point on.
She is very clear in her head about what she wants to convey. Great confidence, clarity, presence, handling pressure, genuine in approach. Wishing her great future.
One word - WOW. I have seen a lot of IAS mock interviews but she is definitely right at the top. Not just the flawless communication skills but also the pin pointed, precise and exceptionally acccurate answers. Wow. Why was she not in top 10!

Most of the comments I see her English is literally phenomenal, but the fact is this much confidence comes only when one can have subject, here the subject is about politics, history, economy.. etc
