The Sony WF1000XM5 are my favorite true wireless earbuds even in 2024. The XM5 earbuds came out last summer and I got them later in the year and they have been my go-t0 earbuds for months. The Sony XM5 earbuds have the bet ANC, probably the best transparency mode I've ever heard, an incredibly built out app for all of your tuning and setup needs, and amazing sound. The only drawback is they cost $299 MSRP.

I'm a big fan, my phone is Xperia 1 V, my earpiece is WF-1000XM5, sound is so great for me I'm not sure about other brand like Sennheiser, Jabra, Marshall.....but I need to turn off Dolby Atmos for revert the great loud sound. Dolby Atmos is great only in Xperia phone speakers that I can literally hear base tone and balanced instrument sound, unlike Samsung only have high treble and nothing.
I've been on the fence with these. I, too, have small ears and was worried about the Sony flagship earbuds fitting. I've tried several and returned them the same day. Thanks for this!
I like their Linkbuds S. They're smaller but still has excellent sound quality and noise cancelling.

I got these when they first launched great fit finally over the WF-1000XM4 & great audio quality, the only problem i had with them was audio kept dropping out no matter which Bluetooth codec I used, music would drop out all of the time when I went for a walk, eventually I ended up getting rid of them.
I'm now using the Nothing Ear 2's which are nowhere near the same level of audio quality as the XM5's but at least they don't cut out when out and about.

These were ok but didn't have enough bass for me, I would either go with the momentum tw4's or Jabra elite line
I have WH and WF XM5s. I had WF XM4s, but they hurt my ears so badly I scrapped them. XM5s are a major upgrade for fit, but the foam doesn't last long. I'm actually looking for silicon tips online rn.

Soundcore liberty 3 pro. Also the tribit fly buds H1's are great also, amazing battery life on those.
I've used Soundcores and they are a good value, but no one is going to complain about the Sony's. I work outside and listen to music and podcasts for 8 hrs/day. Sony kills it on all ranges. Headphones are basically their best product nowadays imo.
I got the WF-1000XM4's paired with my S24 ultra but once they make the 6's I'll upgrade. The LDAC codec paired with Wavelet equalizer and .flac files I have placed on my phone sound amazing with these ear buds.
Had the XM4, and now the XM5. I definitely like the sound of the XM5 more.
There is also better wind cancellation, without having to manually activate it from the Headphones app, and without losing some ANC intensity when active.
The sound is basically the same when enabling transparency mode on the XM5, compared to the XM4.

The soundcore A10 sleep buds are my saving grace
Great but for this price tag I want better sound. Oppo Enco X2, Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3, Honor Earbuds 3 Pro and Soundpeats Air 4 Pro all sound wider, less bassy and more detailed.
Sony is coming right after that
I've used quite a few budget options in the US that were well reviewed. I've used XM4 and now XM5. XM5s are super well rounded and readily available in the US. I use a 1+ phone, but generally the brands you mentioned are not available in the US.

Some of those may very well be decent options but 99% of people won't buy them because they aren't available in the U.S. people trust and know the Sony brand.

despite xm5 are great is expensive but soundcore liberty 4 nc is good too budget friendly

I don't trust sony's quality control. WF-xm4's died after a year and the hinge on the wh-xm4 where it folds snapped. Never again
My experience is about the same. Mine barely made it to two years before the batteries decided to start dying rapidly. Good grief, I have cheap Samsung Buds that are still going strong after almost five years! I'll try Sony again if their price gets in line with their quality: $100.
@@myfakeguuglaccount8307 I had the same problem with xm4 with batteries dying rapidly. Luckily it was within warranty and got replacements. However both the original and replacements still have random drop outs despite numerous software updates. I don't feel confident getting the xm5 because of this.
