Love how every now and then Larry treats Leon like the oracle
Um... that would be because, he is...
@@Vejur9000 it all makes sense now, the milk and mountain dew, why would the oracle remember the fatwa, I can die satisfied
Larry is also an oracle for Leon. Except he's always wrong. He told him to wear glasses to a job interview. White people revere black people with glasses. And he was advised to turn the tables and interview the potential employer. Leon took that advice. Didn't help.
@@jefolson6989 - And Leon is a very flawed oracle in turn. This particular episode ends in disaster because of Leon's crummy advice.
@@wiseonwords true. They need eachother. Otherwise there would be no show!
Leon is actually the best personal advisor Larry could hope for.
Did you not see how the episode end though? 🤷🏻♂️

Leon is just as fucked up as Larry. But they do make a beautiful couple.
For all race relations in the future I say we ask Leon Smoove to settle them!!!
“It’s not racism it’s audacity” might be the best line of the entire show

Nah, best line is "what kind of cum was it?"

It’s kind of illogical but Leon’s explanation of audacity is spot on. 😂😂😂
The OH DACITY🤣😂🤣😂
It's audacious to ask anyone to move up but what a nightmare of racism and sexism for one's sex or race to determine whether one is allowed to ask someone to move up in the queue.
Yea I was on Larry’s side at first but after Leon gave his explanation I must say I agree with Leon 🤣

I literally yelled this. I love it
He would ask Kim Jong Il to move up too! You can't stop Larry!
Agree. Larry goes through life pissing people off regardless of race, religion, or orientation.
"Where the fuck are the other seven years??" What a great question.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂where tha f are the other 7 years ??? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lol, probably 10 years if he does required maintenance. I word in the service industry, you’d be surprised how many people ruin their own shit then ask for warranty. “OH IM SORRY IS IT THE COMPANIES FAULT YOU HAVE WATER INSIDE YOUR ELECTRICAL PANEL”
Leon must have a 7 eleven machine in his room. He always has a fountain drink 🤣
🤣😅🤣
@George Hori Kapu I am from Mississippi and from what I have observed this is true! The Leon's always have interesting conversation as well 😂
Lol
They do that on the show, because it’s like he’s always stopping at cheap / inner city convenience stores instead of stocking his fridge or whatever it’s to make him seem more authentic
Classic comment hahahah
I love how this show went from a husband and wife sitcom to a 'perfect strangers' Larry and Balky type buddy comedy sitcom so seamlessly lol
I never even thought about that. 😂
Well put!
Already have a Larry 🤣
I felt that the show was funnier when he was with Cheryl. That’s only one of the many reasons I prefer the older seasons..
Leon is great, but I like the chemistry Larry and his wife had and all of the problems that he got into on behalf of his wife or that she got upset about.
I was just watching season one when he referred to her as Hitler and then got busted by Kathy Griffin later in the show.
I wonder how the show would work if she moved back in and Leon was still living there.
I was really disappointed in this particular season. Seasons one through eight are absolutely insane. Nine was really good and 10 was still pretty good.
I hardly laughed at all from season 11.

I don't know how JB Smoove wasn't nominated for an Emmy for supporting actor. How can someone do better? He came on midway through the show, changed the energy level, added a different pov, injected more humor into every situation... it's been amazing. Curb might've gone stale several years ago without changing the core.

@Keyzer Soze I watched this since it 1st Aired Larry even said this show is AD Libbed
@Keyzer Soze so I guess larry lied 🤔
Leon’s portrayal as Larry’s Racial counselor in his life is golden…
I'm with Larry on this, it is not racist to hate everyone equally
But practically it ain't worth it
Got it, but what if I hated only myself? Would I be racist against me?
Its not racist its the audacity
Leon is an ignorant coward for sticking to the race script. Imagine if we took this advice to its logical conclusion - you could never ask anyone who looks differently than you to do anything. Ridiculous. I say be audacious and stand up against culture when it’s wrong.
That makes him a humanist, I believe.😂
It's such a brilliant observation - it always bothered me when people in a line do not move up to fill the gap 😂
Does my fucking head in. I must admit I thought it was a British thing, just part of our bizarre fetish for queueing at any opportunity. But apparently not.
i like the gap. i dont wana be paying w somebody over my shoulder. i hate it when ppl cant find the line. space between the person paying and the rest of the line is okay. too big a space in between the rest of the line not okay.
OH Fabian I agree...
And don't get me talkin about cars not moving up...Good Lord.
In the age of COVID, I’m not too keen to move up in the line unless it’s within 6 feet. But that’s just me.
It drives me crazy when I am in the left hand turn lane and the cars closer to the light leave such giant gaps or turn soooo slowly the rest of us don't make the light! 🤔😤
i don't think we can truly appreciate how brilliant this show is
Not to give you grief, but with 9 years of sienfeld and 11 years of this show, someone appreciates it
I think you're a closeted homosexual

If it is beyond being appreciated by humans, in what sense is it brilliant? To some other non-human audience? If so, how do you know?
I've always loved how Larry is just like "Fuck it, I'm a multi-Millionaire, Leon, just live in my mansion"
I think he just likes him.
Getting Leon to leave would be a whole to-do
@@MPHswayze Larry tried that and it didn’t work
LA life
The reason I’ve always loved this show is because Larry is usually right about everything, but it’s never the norm.
@silverrahul people do hate seeing a gap in a line. I think he never considers how it may look because he only thinks about efficiency . Larry is a utilitarian at heart.
@silverrahul oh I completely agree. But it’s a human flaw. It’s kinda like when your in line at a fast food chain. If you see a person not close enough you begin to think they aren’t respecting how hungry you are. I agree that your place in like is going to be the same no matter how many gaps. But it’s human for people to see a gap and become frustrated.
@silverrahul you lack spacial awareness lol
@silverrahulYour explanation might be as funny as the episode. The point that Larry was making was psychological . Such a large gap implies that the line and wait is longer than it should be. He rightly points out that the person next in line has a responsibility to keep the line moving. What if there were 50 people in line and the 40th person never moved until it was his or her turn?
@silverrahul Of course it is. The point is LARRY was right.
"Hey buddy, Hey pal" 😂
He whited that shit up!
I love how Leon says "audacity." Brilliant.
I’m with Larry on this 100%.
Line elongators are the worst.
But now you know the rules of engagement with your approaching them. Leon broke the rules down for you.....
What about social distance ? How much is the proper space to leave?
@@mainreason9601 Good point. I guess you can see how others are doing it and look at what's reasonable.
it makes literally no difference in terms of how fast the line moves and it leaves a break for people passing cross-wise to get through the line easily
@@fuchsiafreud It doesn't "literally" make no difference, because it will take them a few seconds to move up when the time comes, which they could have done while someone was still in front of them.
Leon is the best friend we all need in life. 👍😂
if by "best friend" you mean a freeloader who lives in your house at your expense without respecting any boundaries, I am better off without such a "friend"

The level of genius chemistry between these two borders mind boggling. The stories of JB smoove’s early auditions for this show are absolutely believable. They say Larry David couldn’t stop laughing from his improv. Makes all the sense in the world.
Leon's special purpose is revealed! Explaining matters in no uncertain terms and using the prevailing wind to his decided advantage. Go, Leon!

The way Leon slips F***s into every sentence makes it sound natural and correct.👍
i can only tell what season it is by looking at the characters other than Larry, he never changes
Larry always has that look that he is about to crack up and break character 😂😂😂
There's videos of Larry actually acting like Larry in real life. He is the character literally.
that turned out to be a deleted scene from the show
I was so disappointed that they didn't call it "House Spouse"
lol guess they went for alliteration rather than a rhyme.
@@neon_dex42 They could've started with house husband, said it was a little sexist and moved to house spouse
He is a man ie husband.
No, “house partner”.
That doesn't imply the meaning of the service, though. He ain't gonna make a sammich and wash the dishes.
Everytime they show Leon’s cup he has a different amount of soda 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Leon is clearly one of the top 5 best characters in TV's history
😂👍
Real talk
Leon is right; I’ll move up when I’m ready.
The spots in line will still be the same regardless.
Where can I get a friend like Larry who causes entertainment wherever he goes.
"in your white condition", aww sheet I almost bust in half.
🤣
🤣🤣🤣
I know right! Super excellent line...
Why?
It was a racist slur and I thought racist slurs didn't belong on TV shows.
Let's be precise here. Leon is right that people often feel compelled to stay in their ethnic lanes in situations like this, but still, asking a person of another race to move up is certainly not racism.
Yes but also he's playing a character
there is a component of narcissism. The element of racism is that according to the schtick, you *are* allowed to be a dick to someone of your own tribe (bald, Jew, race, etc.). However, I'm pretty sure I'd mind my own business in all such cases.
@@dougb70 One might also say it's narcissistic not to move up and allow others to feel more comfortable. It's definitely narcissistic to accuse someone of racism for saying something, even if saying something is forward. Of course, narcissism is another overused ism these days. Relatively few actually have NPD.
@@itannoysme3348 clearly the character he plays is narcissistic though.
@@dougb70 yes, that's a safe bet. Though he's spot on in his complaints and observations much of the time.
Larry’s walk and Leon’s walk. Priceless 😂😂😂😂
Larry's got bracket legs, we call them legwegwe in South Africa, most footballers have legs like that(soccer players).
Leon is the type of advisor fit to nourish a kingdom with his wisdom.
You can tell Larry adores Leons one liners in real life.. he breaks character with a subtle twinkle lol '' my eyebrows go up with some bull going down''
Sad that people don’t realize the MASTERPIECE this show is! Their is a reason Larry and Seinfeld are BILLIONAIRES!
Almost billionaires, haven't crossed the threshold yet tho!
Pretty sure the fact they're almost billionaires proves that people realize their brilliance.
Larry is the reason that Seinfeld is almost a billionaire.
Everybody realizes the brilliance of this show
Because they're both J3w$.
These TWO together made sitcom HISTORY. 👀🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is how 2 friends from different backgrounds should handle conversations regarding race. Be willing to hear the other person out without judgement. I totally agree with the gap in the line. That's why I love this show and Peepshow the main characters say the ish I'm always thinking.
"Maybe I'll say something"... "don't"...."eh" 😂that is the foundation that the entire show is built on and it's brilliantly genius ❤
😂 at Larry staring at Leon after asking where the other 7 years go. 😂
These convsersations between Larry and Leon are what makes this show S tier season after season!
"Hey buddy...hey pal"
LMAO
I laughed so hard when Larry mentioned Auntie Rae. She was so goddamn funny I miss her
The whole Karen situation explained in one skit. "The audacity" sums it up.
I'd like to offer my contribution to the lexicon. "Karens" are angry white ladies who probably own a gun and live in the suburbs or the country. The person Larry talks to is a BABL, Bad Attitude Black Lady. Any suggestion coming from a bald-headed white Jewish male ain't gonna fly... SEE: every Larry interaction with Wanda Sykes on the show.
Shequeefa. Not a Karen.
"In your f**kin white condition" lmfao 😂
Tap water salesman & house husband, Leon can sell the Tap water while he provides the house husband services. Sounds like a gold mine!
