The Zord parts are the WORST! There's a LOT of enemies and unavoidable hazards attacking you from ALL angles and you can't concentrate on all of them at once! And they drain your health SO fast! (I'm playing on easy mode BTW) Yes, I did say the hazards are unavoidable!
As someone born in the early 90s especially before Mighty Morphin Powers Rangers aired, this brings a big smile on my face. I get to kick the asses of all the villains i have been watching on the show. The creators have done an awesome work. Well Done!!!!. Can't wait for the DLCs of Lord Zedd, Scorpina and other nods to the 1990s show like big bad beetleborgs, marvel/dc shows, kamen rider and last but not the least, they better add lord Zedd. I want to run Lord Zedd's fade.

Just watching the Goldar boss fight with the player as the Megazord, and I haven't seen this kind of Megazord gameplay since those Japanese Super Sentai Playstation games with the Gaorangers (Wild Force) and Hurricangers (Ninja Storm)! I love how nostalgia it is! The Phnch Out style of fight and the theme song playing is the glorious cherry on top!
I think it will be cool if the rangers have two options battle mode.Which is with bare fist and using weapon,aka Jason with power sword,Zack with power axe etc.
Check out "saban's power rangers" for the ps4. You get weapon attacks and other combo upgrades to choose from and level up your rangers. Also green ranger doesnt require tou to beat the game to use
The Megazord battles remind me of the Goemon Impact fights. I wish there was more variety, though. Like maybe combos instead of just dodge to the side and punch.
I'd prefer it if they'd made it like the Fighting Edition game or the SNES game. Heck even the Sega Gamegear version had a decent Zord battle mechanic. Just fight until the enemy monster's health is gone. Don't get why they needed to overcomplicate something...
Just a heads up, Megazord battles really are about pattern recognition. Just be patient. And and press up after you dodge their lunge attacks cause that's how you can continue wailing on them till it's Power Sword time.
Yeah, this is a bit disappointing in comparison to Shredder's Revenge which had way more levels than I expected and a whole roster of TMNT villains thrown at you, a lot of boss variety. Unfortunately, despite the massive roster at their disposal, this is kind of weak and bland. Reused bosses multiple times, small assortment of villains (when they hyped this as pulling from all across MMPR), it is a shame. I was hoping for a bit of a longer experience and more things altered and changed (like they changed Green Ranger and the whole point of Rita's Rewind is her having the power to chop and change iconic MMPR moments and they just, kind of, don't do enough wild stuff with that premise? There's a lot more iconic moments they could've chopped and changed and done interesting things with.) I hope this game has DLC but if it does it'll probably be similar to Shredder's Revenge and that didn't add a whole lot of new content, just reused it for the most part and turned it into a roguelike.
@@johnniewolf133thats cause this is based off the recent anniversary special "power rangersonce and always" which was done for the 30th anniversary. Look up "saban's power rangers" for the ps4. You dont need to beat the game to get the green ranger in that one and there is a level system to pwer up each ranger
It might be a nitpick but i would love to hear every boss saying something before the battle starts like goldar! But where's eye guy boss which they provided images that you would also fight him as a normal boss before his huge phase?!
My problem as well, Shredder's Revenge just made that bar so high, it had way, way more levels than I anticipated for a classic beat em up (which are usually 4 to 6 levels max.) 16 levels was pretty good, each with a boss fight, a diverse roster of characters, a lot of reverence and references from all across the comics and the shows. That is the bar. For any of these clones, they need to have more content and make sure they aren't less than 10 levels and have more boss variety.

Interesting to see, did they change the Megazord fights to low res 3d models? The original trailer showed the Eye Guy fight with a giant sprite instead, cut content guys might want to check it out- EDIT: Seems like they were always 3D models but they definitely updated the visuals from the reveal trailer which is cool. Does make me wonder though if there is in fact any cut content lurking in the files, with games like this there's usually something.
