These episodes get me everytime can’t help but tear up. I’m a mommas boy and i can’t help it when it comes to a good mother.
Facts! a mother's words though so Simple can give you the power to feel like you can do anything be anyone.
I lost my mom a couple of years ago. And since then this hurts especially hard. I come back to listen to kushina say bye to naruto every few weeks 😅

Naruto meeting Kushina is the greatest flashback in the entire series! MINATO SHOWS WHY HE'S THE COOLEST GOAT!!
It never ceases to amaze me how well Kishimoto portrayed a mother's love for and desire to protect her child...
Kushina was on the ground dying and not capable of even standing up when Kurama tried to kill Naruto. Minato is known for being ridiculously fast(and literally teleporting) and was closer to Naruto than she was, and yet in the instant before Naruto would be killed she was able to not only get between Kurama and Naruto, but she did it before Minato did.
Actually Minato reached before Kushina. There was no way he could arrive after her and be the one who was pierced first. These episodes makes me cry everytime.
Also, Minato was HEAVILY fatigued, he just sealed half of the Kyuubi inside himself. He was probably completely out of chakra aswell, but so was Kushina.
And even more she just give birth and the nine get extracted from her
Oh God I remember watching this scene back when it was airing with a friend of mine who lost his mother just a month ago it was heart breaking on a different level for me and of course for my friend...Salute to all the mothers and fathers out there the only people who are capable of unconditional love towards someone.!!!
Easily one of the best parts of the Naruto series
My favorite is still when he appears to fight Pain. The whole series I was waiting for that moment especially since I watched all the filler.

Neither of those are as sad as this moment in Naruto. If you want an actual sad heartbreaking ultra painful tear jerker of an anime, then you have to watch Anohana the flower we saw that day. Best of luck lmao

As an orphan, this Manga/Anime was MY manga. And this part was some kind of a dream for me as for Naruto too of course. To be able to see our biologicale mom. Beautiful moment in the anime.

When Naruto met Minato, I was fully prepared to Naruto will meet his mother, but man, it wasn't enough to avoiding me to crying so bad like a baby. I mean literally even rewatching it, it is still makes me cry a lot.

It's so beautiful, one of the strongest moments in the Anime world
I remember back in the day reading the manga and this part and how much it hurted me, then when they get to this in the anime o was like "nah i can take this, i know what is going to happen"... But got me worst animated. I consider Naruto a true anime masterpiece and something people have to watch at least once in their life
I love how shes like "I can finally go to where minato is" not realizing he isnt there as his soul was trapped in a different dimension after sealing Kurama in himself and naruto.
Minato left pieces of his chakra in at least 2 places, Naruto's seal and the reaper death seal. You could say the piece of minato that expired from Naruto was ready to move on - just like this *piece* of Kushina is - Kushina "fully dies" in this moment - but Minato has only passed over 1/Nth

23:46 Are these subtitles wrong? Not only is everything translated differently than the original sub, but Tobi refers to Flying Raijin as "Minato's Body Flicker Technique" which is a completely different ability..

Throughout this whole show, I cried like a lil-bby-bitch. For me, a show is good when it makes you cry for the first time. A show is GREAT when it makes you cry many times. 3rd's death in og, Rock Lee ready to fight while unconscious, Garra's death then granny chio's death in shippuden, Asuma's death, Jiriya's death, etc. I felt so many emotions with this series, and that's why it is my favorite of all time.
I cried both watching it for the first time in English and Japanese.
It's not Tsunade but a relative of Tsunade was also both Uzumaki and Senju. Naruto and Tsunade are relatives ( Narutos Auntie ), which means Naruto's last family member is Tsunade and maybe other Senju who are part Uzumaki.
That was tsunades grandma the 1st wife, the 1st hokage sealed it in her after acquiring it after his battle with madara
tsunade isn't naruto's aunt (it says on the naruto wiki that they are distantly related if you dont believe me). the only way in which they're related is the fact that they are both uzumakis, but kushina isn't from the same line of uzumakis as mito so naruto and tsunade are nothing more than very distantly related, due to their uzumaki heritage.

Even though we know literally from the start that both kushina and minato die, this last episode man 😮💨🥺 no matter how many times I watch it, it still hurts me to my very core 😭

That old lady with a diamond on her forehead is Mito Uzumaki I believe, wife of Hashirama the 1st Hokage. That's why she has that forehead mark, she is literally Tsunade's grandmother.

@@Chicagostayscoldd That diamond mark is there only for the show. According to naruto databook, there have been only 2 users of byakugou seal ( tsunade's healing technique) and Tsunade's grandmother is not one of them.
The reason why naruto is, was be, should be, the very beloved anime on this planet, i dont need to explain. The progression, the soundtrack, drawing and .. the most valuable reason, we grow with every episode that start with naruto and ending with the last movie. Feel the Pain Minato and Kushina has, feels more with the death of Jiraiya,.. Nagato, no figur seens simple be, most every one has a reason and so on .. seeing growing a Family in Boruto. To be father AND .. give this love what he never can get. The love of a Family AND be part as Parent with his beloved Hinata,

why didn't you clarify mito' and tsunade's connection to your wife? mito uzumaki is the first hokage's wife and grandma of tsunade. this means that mito, tsunade, kushina and naruto from the same clan(extended family) and are all related
Because I didn't know that information. It never registered with me when I watched it until I read the comments here.
Don't forget about Nagato and Karin
Being in or belonging to the Uzumaki clan or the Uchiha clan does not mean you are in anyway related! You might have had some ancestral connection but the people you mentioned that connection would have been washed away by generations.
