Hey I'm listening to your post right now. You are bringing back amazing memories for me! Growing up on Romper Room, Mr. Dress-up and then later seeing Poka-Dot door. I also had the Fun Fur kits as a child and made a black-grey symbol - sorry, can't remember if it was a dog or a bunny. I grew up in the 70's in Ottawa Ontario.
I was super into puppets as a teenager and going adult, doing pretty plays and then moving to vent routines for community events. I stopped for a long time during my working years (and raising children) as life was getting busy! Approaching retirement and thinking about getting serious about puppetry again.
