- What's the best part of the whole @singitliveworld experience? The music? Maybe. The glory? Nah. The people involved? Yeah... I really do think so.
When it comes down to it, it's a special thing that Darren Mullen has put together. There's a bunch of musos that have played together before, and some that have never met. Either way, it works because of one main reason: the people involved have a common thread/goal, and each do their damndest to do a good job themselves whilst also are willing to help out others wherever necessary. It's a fantastic group to be a part of, and having the opportunity to show you an inside look into what we do on this @CraftyMusicTips channel is something I enjoy.
I can count on my hand the amount of occasions I've been in the same room as vocalist @ChloeCastledine, but due to what I mentioned above I feel like I've known her a long time. It's an absolute pleasure to jam alongside her singing, and to add to our recent @SingItWorld recording of ‘Fame’ by @irenecara3572 I caught up with her on Zoom to chat about what went on for us behind the scenes.

I spent about 35 years working in bar bands but have been out of the business for about 20 years now. These take me back to my own experiences and of course, I'm curious about the people behind the music. Great work on these! And you can tell her (and you) that the barely-contained enthusiasm works! It is amazing the energy you guys put on in Darren's small studio. Love Chloe's vocals and energy in everything I have seen her perform. Crafty - I applaud you for admitting about your "cheat sheet". I figured that is why your eyes were looking to your right.
Love Chloe's voice and dance moves, what a great tune. My Brother lives in Adelaide and met Chloe at a business event, the rest of us live in Ireland, and might visit at Christmas.
I remember meeting your brother!! Was at the Adelaide oval. It was nice he came up and said hi.

Love the Behind the Scenes chats Crafty. Chloe is really down to earth and inspiration to many. I’m of the opinion that Bass players are “the basis” of the band and often forgotten or perhaps understated. I have been fortunate enough to have played with some excellent bass players and my view is that if you get a good one hang on to them for dear life. Enough said, what about interviewing Damien. That bloke is something else. Just oozes talent. Thanks

Was so happy when Darren started recording in this studio again, and loved Chloe from the first time I saw her sing. A super talented version of my bestest friends, fun! So nice to see musicians that come together, with respect and appreciation. Didn’t recognize Nikki at first, (cute new look).
Looked wonderful, sounded fantastic, and the fun is contagious even through the camera. I didn’t get a chance to watch until Saturday morning. You guys kicked off my morning, smiling- singing ( one of my favorite songs) all the way to the coffee pot. ❤❤❤

Nice one Crafty. Great insight into this very talented (and busy) singer (and all the other stuff she does). Funny to seer her more subdued side after you've seen her live and on SIL where her energy levels are through the roof. Sign of a true performer.
I watched Chloe perform on stage last night, as an Ike-ette backup dancer and singer for the cabaret artist “hans the German” (they sang “Proud Mary” in trib to Tina) for a sold out 2,000 audience (she stole the show of course). Love it when I see SING IT LIVE musos appear in music shows in adelaide, esp when I didn’t know they were going to be in. I feel so lucky, to have seen Chloe sing two Saturday nights in a row. Double surprise.
@@seabreeze3906 Lucky you. Wasn't she dynamite at the Singitlive Royalty Theatre gig last Saturday. Chloe's energy is so full on. Can't believe she didn't get the main role in Fame.

Loved this Crafty. Thanks for uploading this. It is so good to hear the stories of the people behind the great music of Sing it Live. It is one of the highlights of the week when a new video drops. Chloe you look like you have so much fun and inject your personality into these classics which is so cool.
Fame was a total classic in the UK with the weekly TV show which came out after the movie. You guys done the sadly departed legend Irene Cara justice with this magnificent cover.

Crafty, this is entertaining material. Chloe is so outgoing and so are you. There's a lot of energy flowing back and forth and with a very interesting back story. I guess the burning question is....Do Darren carry hazardous insurance for you wild dancers? Keep up the interviews and backgrounds. It adds so much for those of us who only get to hear the finished product. Darren has a wonderful crew and talent pool.
