I'm impressed by the Dr. Wernicke cameo as much as I am by the fact that Leland doesn't drop the cigarette from his lips while he's strapped down and ranting

At 1:49 we get a glimpse of Gooseberry in a room with a bunch of child mannequin heads… definitely somewhere in the new map, toy factory or whatever it’s called. We’ve seen bits and pieces of it in other trailers, I just hope it still has that gap you jump across as a co-op move
that gap will probably be in mobster hideout
I really hope they add a new "boss" or whatever you'd call them.

2:05 Red Barrel are the only company i have found who can produce horror games that puts genuine stress on the mind and creates such a level of anxiety that no other gaming company can compare, this game is excellent and I hope it gets some updates with extra content further down the line. Genuinley disturbing & frightening game indeed once the lights go out.
I agree with you, they really know how to do Horror even if it is a Multiplayer Game and most of all it fits Perfect into the Story of Outlast 1 and 2
I love this so much. Can't wait to see Toy Factory in March!

I felt like Trials has so much more direction than Outlast 2. 2 felt like horror for the sake of it, the original Outlast was genuine horror and now we are going back to that. I like it.
From a investigator to a reagent, from a colossal strongfat to facility puppets.

What i really like on the Trailer is the Fact that we see how even the Prime Assets like Gooseberry and Coyle are nothing more than just Victims of Human Research and in that way, not really far away from the Character we play in Trails. Outlast is a Franchise that is very Dark and scary and i love how Red Barrells is telling the Story of the Games

This isnt like outlast.
Its just not. every person that reviews it being good is a kid that just wants to get scared and chased around. theres zero direction or purpose in this game its just a unhinged mess.

Does anyone else find it a bit weird that there isn't any female corpses throughout the levels(I'm not talking about the player models corpses that have items in them)? The phantom pregnancy thing doesn't apply to this game as proven by playable female Reagents, so it's a bit weird Gooseberry and Coyle haven't done anything with female victims😂
It does seem weird, especially after older games like Bioshock had women and even child corpses. I've seen some people call this game "safe edgy" and in some ways they have a point.
@@safrith494 yeah they could've done some messed up stuff on the orphanage program, but of course, having child corpses doesn't fit the context of the game, but female adult corpses totally do

1:43 Dr. Wernicke sounds a bit like The G-Man from half-life.
It will be very good if in the last we again visit the mount massive asylum in outlast 3 and in the post credit of this game we get a teaser of that because walrider is not dead yet in the whistleblower events i think in that asylum more secrets are hidden and even dengerous villains are thre more brutal than chris walker.
I was hoping we’d get to see the main villains die, Gooseberry and Leland. The final chase ending in a typical karmic Outlast death.

Yeah i don't like that either. I guess they wanted to try Multiplayer having story elements which is a prequel to the first game and see how that would play out. Overall as coop game is very well done. The animations, the level design, and the gameplay is good. But personally i don't like it. I'm a campaign only guy. Thankfully they are already developing the 3rd installment years back after 2 came out as a concept with about 10 devs. Most of them developed Trials.
Now that the game is closer to its release the entire team will focus on the next game and presumably release on PS5/Series only. If the rumors are true it's going to be released on PS5 Pro and Series Pro or whatever Microsoft's upgraded console would be called
