It's a shame the bottom of the rear seats isn't in two parts so you could fold one seat flat and just have one back seat. Still good little 4x4's though. EDIT: Just checked and the rear seat is split so one side folds down flat, fantastic! Currently installing a heavy duty plastic box behind the drivers seat for utility items.
I love watching theses sort of videos for ideas and tricks but to also play the game of does the insurance company know about that. Do the smaller items not count as modification i.e roof rack or not?
If you go onto your own insurance companies web page on your account it will have a list for modification changes made where you can update if it is listed. If not listed then no need to update.
I made a cardboard template to fit the hole perfectly first then bought a piece of black Perspex and cut it to shape. It is held in place with magnets, one side is a kitchen cupboard opening magnet catch.
Jimny Jolly THANK YOU! I'm a plumber and I worked out that I could make this work by having the back for my gear which is more than enough space. Can't wait to get my hands on one and custom
