America desperately needs more affordable new vehicles so I appreciate you making a video on the 2025 Kia K4! The 2025 Kia K4 is an affordable sedan that offers incredible value for money. Let's just compare a base 2025 Kia K4 with a base 2025 Toyota Corolla. K4 gives you a great looking exterior, alloy wheels, nice premium interior with soft touch surfaces, two huge screens, included remote start, included blind spot monitoring, included rear cross traffic alert etc. The base 2025 Corolla is more expensive than the base 2025 Kia K4 and offers none of that! In fact base Corollas come with cheap steel wheels with plastic hubcaps, no blind spot monitoring, and a cheap plasticky hard interior!
They had a lot of affordable cars but no one were buying them so they got discontinued. Everyone has to have that elevated driving position of an SUV these days. That way of thinking is so brainless and dumb!
@@bh2155 No one was buying them because interest rates were kept artificially low which means car loans were extremely cheap. Since car loans were so cheap, even poor Americans could buy big expensive cars and trucks, which they did! However, now we have higher rates, which means car loans are more expensive, which means Americans will buy small affordable cars if carmakers make them!
I purchased a K4 for 25,600 , out the door price including all applicable sales tax for Florida. In my opinion this is one of the best looking automobiles. Key West Florida
I have a 2020 kia forte (the K4 replaces the forte) same engine and all and i have over 110k miles never have had a single issue. Might upgrade to this😆
basically any brand new car with regular maintenance will easily last 10 years without any major issues - maybe if you're talking about 20 years then you can start comparing it to Toyota, but realistically the average person who wants 10-15 years out of their car, you'll be fine.
I test drove a 2025 K4 the other day. Acceleration in sport mode is really good but noticeably toned-down in normal mode. All around really good for a car with a cvt
Saving up for a new car next year- I'm upgrading from my hand-me-down 2010 Civic with 250k miles on it, I've always driven Compact Sedans and have no interest in going any bigger, I was considering a Civic or Corolla originally, but considering all my local dealers are charging thousands over MSRP currently for them, and the fact that the interior on this K4 is nicer than the highest trims on any of those models, it looks like the K4 just rocketed to my top slot. Of course, we'll see how things look 6 months from now and some more long-term reviews and stuff come out, but I'm pretty optimistic! This is my first 'new' car, and it'd be sick to pull up in what looks like a $35k car that's actually over 10 grand less.
Didn’t know that was a thing! That’s probably gonna be the best value on the market if they don’t ruin it and and make it only available in the GT-Line and should be a good option for those that think the Soul is too ugly and a bit short.
I think if you correctly maintain a Kia or Hyundai they will last very long. I think the K4 looks so much better than a Hyundai Elantra. Awesome video.
I’m waiting for a the hatchback, but I have a 19 Kia Forte with 90k miles no engine or powertrain problems, just some issues with electric issues. Like the power windows not working, and the camera for lane keep not working that would be my only worry about modern Kia but really all cars. All this tech is so expensive to replace and really how long does it last compared to mechanical parts. Still a great car tho!
Kia cars are not the best. But i do applaud them for trying to make cars for every budget and stage of a person life. for example this is a good car for a young adult or a single mom. The Telluride is gpod for a larger family or a middle aged more financially stable person.
Is this a more option heavy LX compared to a less optioned EX? Why would they be so similar in price from trim level to trim level. Doesnt make sense. Weird.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 exactly! The 2025 Kia K4 offers more features, a nicer interior, a nicer exterior etc. while being cheaper than the 2025 Corolla and 2025 Civic! Even this base K4 has nice alloy wheels while a more expensive base Corolla has cheap steel wheels with plastic hubcaps!
This is supposed to be the replacement to the Kia Ceed, but it's a saloon rather than a hatchback, it's 2024 I wish bonnets were less long. Mistake no more hatchback & being longer than the Ceed.
The design makes the Pontiac Aztec blush. The rear quarter,c pillar and trunk area are hideous. The front end looks like a Volkswagen. The interior looks rental car cheap. I understand this car was built on a price point but there are much better vehicles with much better resale value available. One just has to look at Mazda, Toyota, and Honda. The base engine and CVT are anemic. They will probably sell a lot of these because they will be affordable for most people to get into. However, the expected depreciation will make most of the people be buried in them in negative equity.
$24 sounds like a little too much for this car. It's nice, but there are better choices for that amount. A civic LX has less tech. But a solid car, that drives like a slow sports car. That comes with a plethora of other benefits from owning a Honda. Or a Toyota for all that matter. Hyundai /kia were the ultra affordable choice. It's what they built their company on. What happened?
Inflation, that's what happens. A base Civic LX starts at $23k-$24k without destination included. The new K4 starts at $21k without destination and still has more features than a base Civic LX. It's still competitive despite the price hike on all vehicles.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 you're spot on! Fact is, a new 2025 Civic or new 2025 Corolla is just too expensive and not value for money! A new 2025 Kia K4 is cheaper and more value for money!
@jraheemjefcoat429 just know that hyundai kia vehicles are cookie cutter cars with interiors that fall apart in less than 5 years with engine failures. Hell there's a whole Facebook group about engine failures on these. Also did I have to mention these get stolen? GDI engines and cvt transmissions are a recipe for disaster especially on Korean cars
Cheap, a nice look, but the quality is very low!!! As owner of Kia since 2023 I can say by 60k it will be on its knees…. Materials are bad, paint is bad, but the worse is the engine and transmission, I have been visiting the dealership more times than with my old Dodge )) never again They do really good diesels for European market, LPI for Korean but for North America market is crap! Also I would never buy it after the warranty expired )))

the corolla will outlast the garbage kia... all those screens and safety features will fail before 100,000 miles... old is gold.

Insane K4 Ben !! ❤❤
It’s a nice looking economy car, just worried about the long term reliability.

People of this generation will probably change cars on average 7 to 10 years, reliability is not comparable to jap cars but should be enough
They win with design and features. Reliability will come with time.

I may try to get an EX k4 by the end of the year, i really like it
Kia is on the right track*
The K4 looks great and seems like a good value.

Kia is a good car brand, there more reliable then you think they are, the way to test the turning radius by wiggling out of a parking spot
Wait affordable k4?
Models upto over k4 at 34000+?

I wanna see that GT line turbo but i dont think anyone gets their hands on it until start of next year.
The rear 3/4 view is very reminiscent of the new bmw X2
The one I’m waiting for is the GT line non-turbo
My country needs cars like this! a golf 7 is more expensive than this!
O novo kia k4 LXS sedan🫶

That rear door handle ruined the car for me. I hate them that much lol
Where is the gt line most of videos the normal type 😕
The kia logo on the steering wheel not being centered and the back side window almost touching the back window would drive my OCD crazyyyyyyyyy..
