My daughter made bad choices over and over again and I've done a lot to help her while she has turned down offers by the state to get on her feet. 4 kids later by 3 different fathers, I'm still trying to help. Raised my grandson for 3 years while she was supposedly getting on her feet. And still, sometimes she goes on a tangent and gets it into her mind that I haven't helped at all. My, how short her memory is. I refuse to do everything for her and at some point, she has to take accountability for the choices she made.

Even though the mother [Tammy] could benefit from a tad more empathy, the daughter REALLY needs to grow up! She’s way too dramatic and jealousy is a terrible trait. It infiltrates and seals your fate! I’m glad the aunt got the confirmation she needed, now she knows for sure she fits in and belongs there. The rest of the family now needs to embrace/welcome her.
How can you pass judgement so quickly and crassly? You see all this and your conclusion is that Jealousy is a terrible trait? Do you think it came out of nowhere? Do you think she’ll just wake up one day and say “hm yes the pervasive rejection I’ve felt is suddenly gone through zero forces at all” . That’s absolutely ludicrous and a gross misunderstanding of the human psyche and how vulnerable children are- and how that affects the adults they grown into being.
