Ken you are a super cool guy and your work turns out beautiful because you have the right attitude in life! You seem like an easy going guy who rolls with the punches. It's nice to see someone who takes pride in their work. Appreciate the effort to make these videos!

Once again that texture match looks great Ken! The one thing I have learned over the years is that we are our own worst critics. Most lay people won't notice most imperfections, meanwhile we can see the scaffold joints at 30MPH going down the street :)

😂😂😂I know right. Plus see joints that are above the fence line on houses next to a street where the plasterers should have kept the joint below the fence line so peers😂won’t see the joint from the street side driving by. Shake my head

Nice job Ken. I do almost all my stucco jobs by myself. I’m 64 just a little older than you and have been doing it for 40 years. Really enjoy your videos and I would shoot some video too but I’m always alone. I do all my work in Southern California.

Gosh Sonishistorian ya know we live such parallel lives. I know I say I’ve been doing this for 33 years but when you add in the 6 years I spent in the union and 1 year with my brother plus a summer in high school when I was 16 I’m close to 40 years too. Do you often talk while your working thinking someone is watching you? Or do you just talk to yourself?

Great work! How many ounces of acryl 60 do you recommend per 5 gal pail of stucco mix. Also do you think type s mortar is ok to use for stucco too. Thank you for your time!

Hi I’m comfortable with our current recipe. Would you be using the type s mortar for adhesive properties or in place of something else. I would only buy type s mortar if I couldn’t get pre mixed stucco. I’ve used it once before to make my own finish but today it seems kind of useless while other materials are available and there’s no guesswork as to how much type S to use. I’d have to relearn it.

Also we add at least 16 oz of acrylic 60 per 5 gallon pail of finish.

I may have woke him up. In retaliation he mowed his yard. My good deed for the day.
