Okay, first off, you are funny and so down to earth to listen to and you explain each step very well and easy to follow along. I think it will be a wonderful album to put together.
When adding the flip pocket to the signature, maybe you could put the flap on the single sheet of the signature before completing that assembly of the signature. Also you could add 1/8” second score on the hinge to give more space when folding over.
Thank you so much! I love the album. You mentioned that you would put together a little tutorial on how to adjust the size of the album. I would love love love to view that tutorial as I'm always looking for the lay flat method tutorial in different size albums. Also, when you say the album is 8x8 or 6x6 does that mean it's the size of the album or the size of the paper? Thank you so much.
Thank you for you message. I really appreciate it. When I mention the size of the album, that refers to the cover. The pages (or signatures) would be smaller (normally by about 1/2" or so). Decorative paper would be even less. Hope that helps but if you have any more questions, please let me know. I'll be sure to go through this and more during the tutorial on album making which will also include adjusting the sizes.
Good question. Normally I use 65 lb for the cover, hinge and all the extras (like the flip pockets and flip pages) and 110 lb for the signatures. Because I'll be using another layer before the decorative cardstock, I stuck with 65 lb for everything. Hope that helps!

I’ve made a few albums now but yours are the best instructions for the skeleton that I’ve found. If you really want constructive feedback - and this is more a reflection of me not you - I thought I’d got it, went and made a “signature”, glued it in, it didn’t work (too close to the spine) then tried to find where you talked about that. Could you maybe put some comments - even just a “go to X time” - at the close of the cover & hinges section to point to your information about installing signatures? Thanks, signed “bull at a gate” lol..
Thank you so much for your comments. I truly appreciate and value constructive criticism and absolutely agree that the timeline would be easier to find a specific part of the video. I'll be working to add that to my videos going forward. Thank you so much!!
Welcome to my channel! The chipboard is .05" thick and super sturdy. If you're in Canada, we also sell it on our website (fabbulouspaperemporium.com). The downside is they only come in 8.5" x 11" sheets.
Grazie di grande effetto nella sua facile realizzaione. La carta 80 - 90 - 110 libbre a quanto corrispondono in grammi? (In Italia si misura in grammi) grazie
I am listening to this while working but I can tell that I really need to come back and watch it again while I can pay attention

Thank you so much! Sometimes I'm sure it's like the ramblings of an insane crafter....lol.
Gaahh!! So so cool! I love how they're always so different. You just keep getting better and better! I can't wait to see the decorative stuff go on:)
Awe thank you so much! I'm pretty excited about this one!
Thank you so much…very well explained, helpful and inspiring ❤
So glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks so much for posting the how-to instructions. Wondering what weight of cardstock you used for the album construction? Thanks.

Just found your channel. what weight chipboard do you use for the cover?

Thank you for your message. 65 lb cardstock is about 176 GSM. That's what I used for all parts of this album construction.
