Hello everyone, so, if anyone is wondering if the glitch still works, yeah, it works (03/23/24). The first day I tried to do the glitch it didn't work for me. I tried for over 4 hours and it didnt work. It was until the 2nd day I decided to try it again, and in the first attempt it worked like a charm. So, I got the outfit wearing the summer gunslinger outfit, and starting the mission. After that I didnt skip any of the 2 cutscenes. So when I finally could control Arthur again I walked as fast as possible to the street, making sure I didnt bump into any of the guards. And finally I just cancelled the mission and boom, I got the tuxedo at the first attempt. So I recommend wearing the summer gunslinger outfit, dont skip cutscenes (idk if this is important or not, but I didnt skip any of them and the glitch worked in my case) and try to walk away as fast as possible when you can control arthur again to the street, WITHOUT hitting any of the guards. But keep trying, it worked for me in Xbox. Good luck.
I've done this close to 5,6 times on both 1.00 and 1.31 and it really works, The trick is to make sure that you go straight after getting past both the guards(careful not to bump into them) keep your trajectory straight and try to get as far into the street as you can before the mission fails. Here's a tuxedo outfit that I made incase you give up No hat Rambler jacket the farrier which can be bought at black water with level 3 honor, I did this with the saving cheats activated glitch Black classic vest White French dress shirt Fancy pants the gambler Any suspenders No chaps Wingtip gaiters black No spurs Black dress tie Legendary elk range gloves. Can be crafted All upgraded weapon equipment
on the mission where colm dies i put a bandana on before i went into the mission and first try i got the belt to stick but nothing else this reminds me of gta5 clothing glitches where u put somthing on and the whole fit sticks
Fun fact. After you do the ferry mission with trelawny, go straight to your horse outfits and the outfit you wear in the mission will be there. Equip it and go to camp, general store or tailor and save the outfit. Now you have an awesome suit!
After many attempts, I finally managed to do the glitch. But the main problem was this: saving the outfit. For method 1, I had not crafted those outfits, and for method 2, I had already bought them, As a result, I could not save the outfit in any way. I am disappointed
At 5:20, are you saying to not load any save after getting the tuxedo? Even one made before doing the glitch? Or did you mean don’t make a save and load it before completing the mission?
For anybody attempting this on xbox, do not waste your time, I know in the description it says it works on all platforms, but it only works on PC and PS4
if its taking you hours, just do this to get a suit (a bit different to this one) MUCH MUCH easier without relying on RNG. 1. make sure you have a spot for one outfit to be stored on your horse. 2. beat the mission "A Fine Night Of Debauchery" in chapter 4. 3. go to your wardrobe through tailor or through camp. 4. check outfits stored on your horse. 5. select "The Wittermore" 6. customize it, like putting a stovepipe tophat. 7. now save the outfit and its yours! much easier to do, 100% success rate. Edit: works on latest patch update
I have a feeling this rng is hardware dependent, reason being is that depending on your performance sometimes the game behaves differently. A good example of this is on GTA V where higher FPS would cause some anomalies to the game's physics. Can anyone confirm if that's that case for RDR2? I've been trying for days, hundreds of tries and different methods. Only worked once and I found out it didn't work with the holster method.
How? I had to use the trapper outfit method and lost the vest because buying reinforced trapper equipment still didn’t let me save it. I tried equipping a hat and gloves and still didn’t work. So I had to use the marauder trapper outfit method and it worked but I lost the vest. How do you save the vest too without buying gunsmith holsters? Saving it with a hat doesn’t work idk what ur talking about
If you do not have it yet, it’s probably just bad luck/RNG. I still haven’t gotten it, anyone who has gotten it, please reply. It would be appreciated.
@@lilglizzy-gc2vl it definitely will not work with 7 tries or less. Only when you have great luck/RNG. I have been attempting this for over 1000 times. Still no outfit seems to appear. (I play on xbox and latest version on red dead redemption 2)

I just put 40 hours into a play though, but I have to restart because I abandoned the mission as soon as it started and I lost all my weapons( I wasn’t trying to do the glitch I just wanted to get off and save my game) and I can’t get them back.

Can I save it by just adding a hat like a random hat like Arthur's hat I want to keep the normal outfit itself without taking off the vest and stuff and then having a gaping hole in Arthur's stomach
Im giving up on this I canceled the mission almost 30 times and it still didn’t me the outfit i did the glitch before on my last save before the one im playing with rn and that was a few months ago so it is possible to do it but is based on luck and my luck is terrible :/

I've gotten the glitch to work on rapid success but failed to save the outfit with the vest on, I try to buy a gun holster from the trapper because I already bought the upgraded one from the gun store but it won't pop up the option to save the outfit. Any help?

@@abdulhamidhamza1814 No Custom. The regular one from your wardrobe. Another tip if you fail the mission as shown in the video but don't have the suit don't reload, just make your way back to camp to Hosea to try again.
Can I do the same thing for the Wittemore outfit when we the gang tries to go and rob the city bank in Saint Denis? You should make a video on that if you didn't, I think it works because I saw somebody try and do it
It worked once but I didn't have any outfits and no holsters to buy so I re loaded my save and got myself a outfit, but no luck. Think you can only do this once per play through or something
I just made the worst mistake, once I was done with doing the suit thingy I did the hat save but I only had the legendary bear hat, so I put it store on horse so when I put it on, it made me get my outfit that I had before.

I'm wondering if I can park my horse (with an empty outfit slot on the saddle) outside the mayor's house before I start the mission and jump the fence during the mission and ride to the big hotel, get a room and do the marauder outfit switch then finish the mission.. I saw a video where the person jumped over and went to the gunsmith and even waited till morning to get the holster...
I’m really tired of commenting and getting no response nor help. This is my last question. If anyone on Xbox series X/S. Please tell me and be honest. Did you get the tuxedo on latest patch? If so, please make a clip of you using the tuxedo. Some gameplay or tips on how to do this. The many times i have tried still won’t work for an unknown reason. If anyone has a consistent method and i know that someone probably does and won’t tell anyone. But please. This is my last comment i’ll ever comment on here. I’ll look at whoever replies immediately. Howdy partner. I'm a Playstation guy myself, but figured I could drop in, ya know, share some wisdom. The way the glitch works is quite....inconsistent to say the least. Unlike other mission outfits that have methods to grant you the suit, this one is completely up to chance, %100. I'm currently attempting to get it, been trying for the past half hour. Best tips I can give is having patience and, as Dutch would say, "some goddamn faith, Arthur". Another small tip: try wearing a white suit when your doing it. It doesn't help the chances, but when you load back into the world after abandoning the mission, you can tell right away if you have the suit or not because ones white the other is black. That's all I really got to say, keep trying partner, best of luck
@@SkyModifyyy yeah I tried it on my series x for 6 hours didn’t work so I just went back to the Xbox one and it worked in like 30 - 40 mins so I can confirm it doesn’t work on series x

@⛩️_Chris⛩️_ just once, but to just get the outfit first, you need to try at least about 8-10 tries then follow the steps that he explains and you will get it easily

For anyone reading this wondering if it still works. As of *December 1st 2023* on Xbox One it does still work. It took me 6 tries but it does work

It still works! At first playthrough, I got the tuxedo in first try, but I didn't know how to keep it. So I made it on second playthrough.

this works for me on 1.31 version of the game and it took me 4 attempts so the glitch really relies on RNG so goodluck

The holster method didn't work, but i got my guns back loaded my saved file then got the marauder outfit and it worked perfectly

If you can buy a holster from the trapper instead of the gunsmith, then yes, otherwise, you're going to have to use the trapper outfit method.

You do need *one* of the trapper outfits the video listed to put it on over your suit once you get it and make your way to a wardrobe and save it

You should completed the mission normally after saving the tuxedo outfit
It worked for me on a different method, i equipped trapper outfit the maraduer and abandoned the escort. I got it on my first try With that method

I’m really tired of commenting and getting no response nor help. This is my last question. If anyone on Xbox series X/S. Please tell me and be honest. Did you get the tuxedo on latest patch? If so, please make a clip of you using the tuxedo. Some gameplay or tips on how to do this. The many times i have tried still won’t work for an unknown reason. If anyone has a consistent method and i know that someone probably does and won’t tell anyone. But please. This is my last comment i’ll ever comment on here. I’ll look at whoever replies immediately. Period.
Howdy partner. I'm a Playstation guy myself, but figured I could drop in, ya know, share some wisdom. The way the glitch works is quite....inconsistent to say the least. Unlike other mission outfits that have methods to grant you the suit, this one is completely up to chance, %100. I'm currently attempting to get it, been trying for the past half hour. Best tips I can give is having patience and, as Dutch would say, "some goddamn faith, Arthur".
Another small tip: try wearing a white suit when your doing it. It doesn't help the chances, but when you load back into the world after abandoning the mission, you can tell right away if you have the suit or not because ones white the other is black. That's all I really got to say, keep trying partner, best of luck

@@SkyModifyyy yeah I tried it on my series x for 6 hours didn’t work so I just went back to the Xbox one and it worked in like 30 - 40 mins so I can confirm it doesn’t work on series x

@⛩️_Chris⛩️_ just once, but to just get the outfit first, you need to try at least about 8-10 tries then follow the steps that he explains and you will get it easily
