Luckily I have Shop & Mobile compressed air, and I'M not afraid to use it. My 15 year old Chicago Pneumatic 3/4" Impact does most of the grunt work, and if that won't get it, then the Chinesium Horror Freight 1" Impact comes out to play. I bought a Milwaukee 1" Battery Impact a year or two ago when there was a sale on them, but I haven't been able to hit MY head on a hard enough surface to pay $200 plus dollars for a second battery. It's about useless without a second battery, unless you take LOTS of breaks waiting for the battery to recharge.
Im not defending Ingersoll, because i know they havnt done right by you with the trigger, but it is a VERY good thing those batteries are tight like that. PITA it may be, but it takes A LOT to hold them in there while the gun is hammering . Milwaukee had problems with their 3/4 and 1" guns having the batteries loosen up or just falling off, which was a big problem for guys trying to do a whole semi trailer. Having to wrestle the thing off is way better than having to keep relatching it constantly. Milwaukee even tried a floting mount that shook with the impacts but the batteries still loosened up, not sure if they still use it.
Since you have that Enerpac/OTC type high pressure pump system have you considered buying one of those hydraulic stall wrenches? It's a simple cylinder/ratchet mechanism and a reaction bar that can be used to apply a specific torque based on the pump pressure. Work well on those really big fasteners, they are too slow for small stuff.
Everything about that IR, battery powered impact seems inadequate. It’s heavy, it’s gutless, it’s hard to extract the batteries, it’s expensive, its batteries don’t last, and I’m sure a charge cycle is slow….

Speaking of fire, i wouldn’t leave any lithium ion batts within 30 feet of any structure like your shop.
Those things burn like rocket motors
Charge large lithium ion batteries hanging by strings over a barrel of water. If they blow up, the string burns away, and the drop into the water :)
I thought about building a steel container to put them in, scares me to death that they could burn down my shop
