Great idea for a challenge. The dishes looked descent. I think the cottage pie looked the best to me, as well as the desserts. Great job; you beat my prediction (I was guessing 15 min). As for other home challenges, how about a giant bowl of pasta with meat sauce and meatballs. Thanks for sharing! 💪

The jam roly-poly saved the day, it looked delicious! I could not stop laughing watching you drink the custard straight from the container, the idea was to pour it over! 😝 Well done Max. Of course I'd love the Mac & Cheese, but I'd probably be disappointed in that one. The pasta ones are probably a good choice, hard to do Pasta wrong. But I definitely saw that rice being dry! Chicken Pot Pie vs Chicken Hot Pot! 😂 That'd be a fun challenge. Lol But, I feel it would be tooooo much 🐔 Anyway, you crushed these! Great work as per usual. I loved the hidden dessert at the end! I'm also envious of your whole tub of Custard! I don't think I could even buy just a container of custard. Unless your custard is like pudding over here? As for your signing off... As a good Canadian who's here to represent, I gotta say: mac & cheese is great! One of *THE* most popular dishes is "Kraft Dinner" (known in other countries as Kraft Macaroni & Cheese), a cheap boxed meal that every Canadian grew up on. That and poutine are our guilty pleasures :)
A flavour of beige challenge 😂 ❤ 🇬🇧 traditional British food 😂 having had to go gluten free since 2013, my food generally gets a bit of colour 😉 Maybe try a salad challenge in the summer to show me how to eat salad gracefully... most of the time I feel like a rogue rabbit 😂❤
Thank you for your video. As for ideas for home food challenges, something quantifiable and relatable. I can't find these, but I know what a hotdog is. You know? Competitive eaters, uh, rarely do fish/seafood, so maybe something there. I've wondered how competitive eaters would fare with a block of cheese. Also bologna. Canned chili. Dinty Moore beef stew. And I've been curious about vegetables. Competitive eaters never seem to compete with vegetables. 10 lbs of carrots vs 10 lbs of cucumber - water content varies, etc., etc. Also, get a scale. Most food scales only go to 2-3 pounds/kilograms, but I thought about it, and maybe a luggage scale would work well. That's kind of the range of weights you're usually dealing with.

I'm thinking the dinners were cheap but not so good. You kept having to salt the food. Also, I don't think I saw anything green in any of the dishes and I think I saw 1 bit of carrot in the cottage pie. Doesn't seem very nutritious. I love the way your eyes lit up when they slid the dessert to you. I had no doubt you'd eat it all. I like when you eat British foods like Full English Breakfast or when you did the whole roast dinner w/ yorkshire puddings.
I admire your dedication to your channel and fans by increasing to 2 videos each week, but be sure to keep your health in mind. That may become really challenging trying to maintain your weight.
Thanks Matthew! I definitely do, really nice of you to comment. I've actually got a backlog of about 8 videos hence going up to two a week. I eat a lot of veg and lean protein throughout the week and these challenges are mainly to put some muscle on at the gym!
