  • If you are looking for a quick land warm up before you jump into the pool this great 3 in 1 5 minute warm up will do the trick. Prevent injury, improve mobility and increase strength. There are many benefits to these exercises in this particular order like maintaining good body alignment, improving shoulder strength to reduce the dropping of your front arm while you swim and improve mobility to be able to get into the right positions for maximum efficiency. To see results aim to do this before every session. I recommend starting with one set of each exercise for 10 x reps and then increasing the sets but stick to 10 x reps for each exercise.
    The objective of these exercises is to open up with shoulder capsule and spinal movement and activate the shoulder and back muscles to improve mobility while increasing strength which will prevent injuries in the pool with overloading the shoulders in a session.
