Saying this as a 12 yr old kid who has never played a Spyro game before this one. I absolutely loved this level. Though it was confusing at first since I’ve never played a free fly level before. I loved the fact that there was just a level where you just hunt for gems, no fighting, just gems. This level actually allowed me to take in all the beauty of this game. All in all, I just loved this level.
Im gonna tell you all now....there are 80 total dragons to collect and 12 total dragon eggs as well as 12,000 gems I was missing the Dry Canyon Level. Once i completed that was able to go to Gnasty's Loot. Happy Hunting!!
@@theshiznits2020 I don’t conform to mob mentality. If you really think likes on a youtube comment gives your opinion more validation; your takes on a lot of things are probably garbage. Objectively, normal flight levels have better level design. Thats just a fact. You have your opinion. When I unlocked gnastys loot the first time I was heavily disappointed. Unlocking doors to increase glide height? Lol like what. Theres also like 3 enemies guarding the treasure with a total playtime of maybe 5 minutes. Spyro 3 did a much better job with the bonus loot world, it was genuinely fun.
@@dantheman9501 I don't conform to it either, but what is just your own opinion worth against many people that disagree with you? So you're telling me that timed shit and the crap where barely touching water kills you is better level design? Bullshit. And that's fact, not opinion. So what if unlocking the doors let's you fly higher? It helps you to get all the loot at the lower levels first. The only problem for me in that level was the inverted flight controls.
@@theshiznits2020 I agree with Dan here. Just cause you suck at flight levels doesn’t make them dogshit, if anything it only adds to the value. Inverted controls most accurately simulate actual flying. And yes, Gnastys loot is a pretty disappointing bonus world, it’s pretty random
Thanks, my dude. Without you, I never would have gotten 120%. We got the second and third games but never the first as kids, so this was my first time playing the first game. Gotta say, it had its ups and downs, but I overall mostly enjoyed it. Won't ever play it again, though. 😂 😂 😂

@rileybowman5988 I'm loving the remastered trilogy I only played Artisians once or twice as a kid but it was burned into my memory and now playing the entire game is just so awesome
Question. I've played this as a kid, but never played the reignited trilogy. The metal things you have to fire up three times, when I was a kid, I could make those fans land on enemies. Is that not a thing in this game anymore?
@@mattdeeeezy awesome. Thanks. Just curious. Also, fun fact. I just noticed your user name. I shit you not, I use that name as my alias. Matthew Davis.
How the hell is it possibile?! The guide tells me I've completed all levels 100%, I've collected all gems, dragons, eggs and point skills; however, it tells me also I missed 400 gems and so I can't go in the Gnasty's Loot... Please, help me!
I loved this level as a kid. But it irritated me the other levels didn't allow continuous flight, even as a reward.
On ps1 with a gameshark you can enable it checkout my spyro boundary break to see it
all spyro games 100% "rewards" suck
I didn't even realise this level had continous flight until you mentioned it.
May last. I finally completed this game 120% thanks to this guide.

You need to catch the key thieves and open up the other areas, if you can manage that then you'll find that spyro can ascend to greater heights.
