Ki barriers make you immune to anything that isn’t a physical or ki based attack. Infinity and the barrier won’t even work on Goku. Even in base, Goku scales to 5-6D and as stated can overwhelm time. He destroyed Hit even though he was in a different dimension. So not only does he vastly outscale the combined JJK verse, he also has better hax. Oh and Ultra Instinct makes him practically unbeatable in an equal stats/no powers fight.

Goku transcends infinity, gokus base power has a lowball of 6-7D ap. The living realm is 4D, and it has multiple finite dimensions within it, such as the room of spirit and time and infinite timelines.
Afterlife is dimensionally transcendental of the lower half of the macrcosm, making it 5D-6D. This is confirmed in the daizenshuu, and in the Manga.
Gokus ssg power was absorbed to his base, thus granting him this multiversal ap in base. He's already got multiple infinities above Gojo. He's also displayed the ability to easily move in a place without space or time, also granting goku inaccessible speed.
Goku also has speed that transcends infinity. Infity can not be divided it remains infinite, let alone an infinitely higher dimension. Keep in mind this is base Goku.

Gokus ap and speed would break gojos abilities. His infinity wouldn't hold Goku considering his speed is beyond it. His battle against hit is proof of that. Gokus physical speed can break time.

Goku comfortably has infinite to immeasurable speed in base, anyway. Gojo is probably incapable of hurting even Z Goku, and still gets speed-blitzed and one shot if you accept that the Dragon Ball macrocosm is composed of multiple infinite timespaces.

Hell, Heaven, Other World, The Land of Kai's all are stated several times in guide books to be multi-infinite as well as the living realm being infinite. There is a demon realm but I don't remember a size given if there was on.
But Goku and Pikkon in a state where they're already in combat sparing with each other. Casual base Goku and combat base Goku is very different in stats. They flew from Other World, Blitzing through Heaven and then arriving in Hell.
Giving Base Post Cell Saga Goku, multi-infinite speed as a casual traveling feat. But it took 7 minutes of screen time for them to cross that as they chatted. But then again, they were talking and time is different through their and the reader's perception.
A Single universe in dragon falls under the definition of a Multi-infinite Macrocosm with sentient concepts like time, time will fix/restore/ and even adapt to things to help it not be shattered. Same with dimensions and other concepts eta.
Goku's energy has also shaken up several "universes" in DB including all of their realms as we can see by Elder Kai even feeling their power from Other world while the battle is happening in space in the living realm. Making their energy and presence neg diff infinity, concepts, and more.
This being said, Goku's body is passively flowing with this energy (KI) as well. So him punching Gojo's barrier which is infinite would completely just shatter his barrier without any problems, I'm sure his aura and combat presence likely would even cause the barrier to tremor or even break.
And that's main timeline Goku, there are Goku's we've seen that completely neg a being that was going to smash reality and fiction together so he could rule it all, and he got bodied by Base Goku.
This comes from a story that is not a part of the main timeline/Continuity but is within The Verse of Dragon Ball itself. This Goku being a character fans have named "Xeno Goku". He is often called "Non-Cannon" but the creators have only said he is not a part of the main timeline and continuity which is even explain in the Xeno story. DB fans like calling everything Non-Cannon without any proof.
For example, Dragonball GT is a Separate Timeline from original Z and Super. But, fans call it Non-Cannon bc they feel like it.

Would his domain expansion actually work on Goku, the characters can use ki to block out any power, and mental attacks are what Goku's used to, mental training plays a massive role in db, he can even read minds with ease, so using his ki to block out Gojo's energy seems like it would be easy, since the power gap is so massive.

Honestly feel like goku's ki is his own sort of infinite. We see how Jirens aura was able to block gokus kamehameha, and how moros fist broke against gokus ki covered pec. Gokus aura can prob even defend him from unlimited void, if it can even reach goku. The domain prob activates too slow. Also, maybe he could also break his domain like how vegeta destroyed the time chambers dimension. Goku can resist erasure attacks like hakai with his aura, and in a fight he most likely would have his aura up. Also, Gokus hakai was the actual technique used properly, he just had to cut it short because zamasu used mai as a meat shield. Gojos domain also doesnt affect himself or anything directly affecting him, so Goku could just have his hands on him. hes fast enough to do that.
slowing down doesn't make limitless infinite, it may appear that he can slow you down infinitely, However, this is only through his near-infinite stamina. Which is a recharge ability.

The part of the infinite is right, but as u said, infinite ALSO DETECTS LIGHT AND SOUND for example, and difference the things as their threat lvl, so if something aproaches it will get slowed no matter speed it has. Unfortunately yes, there are people who think it is a debate
I love when people say they know gojo's ability but they explain it wrong, i don't wanna disprove goku can teleport through a infinite distance, the farthest hes went is to hell in his universe and back. He's never visited the other universes this for its unlikely to teleport through something that takes the literal idea of dividing a number over and over again so even if goku and warp to gojo, he'd be back where he started because the distance would double. And hollow purple is collapse of space time, completely different from the matter of hakai which is a solid object. It's imaginary mass is the energy of the blast essentially deleting space-time. Which i don't think goku could have survived the fight with beerus he they tore space more because tearing space just deletes it. Like goku does scale above light but we have yet to the maximum output of limitless either. And so far if he claims to be stronger than yuki in the series is correct, this means gojo scales literally infinitely because of how his eyes work. Like mans was made to be a marry sue from day 1, the only fair fight would probably be saitama vs gojo. Not goku, goku is not that high up, hes closer the dio above heaven then saitama who broke quantum physics. Not to mention gojo's technique is literally quantum physical manipulation, its not a physical barrier. He'd need another buff because he got one shotted by frieza. He'd either have to go fast enough to end the fight before it happened by rapidly accelerating until he turns into a particle to by pass limitless. Its the only canonical way to win. But just going fast enough in someone's timeskip to learn how it works then coping their homework kinda doesn't feel like enough to contest. Plus gojo has a form of instant transmission with his warp technique he uses.
Like goku can use ultra instinct, but gojo can just beat the bricks out of hin the same way jogo did when they fought because gojo can hit you without touching you which is why it kinda feels “slightly” unfair for our boy. Like mans hasn't seen those types of abilities before so hes gonna probably be more confused why gojo can be hit by literally anything. And gojo is gonna be weebed out because cannonically, dbz exists as a manga in jjk so hes gonna probably be his friend. Like fr these two wouldn't fight because when gojo realizes its goku. He like has two options either become friends or become aquanted.

Goku vs gojo isnt even close to a fair fight because of how badly goku stomps. Gojo's limitless while is does divide the distance between him and his enemy constantly, any character's with infinite speed or above or character's who are a dimensionality above gojo will bypass his limitless. Gojo's hollow purple wouldn't work on goku because of the fact goku has tanked hakai which is erasure on a 4th dimensional level where has hollow purple is 3rd dimensional erasure. The only actually win condition gojo has his domain expansion which would require 2 things 1 for gojo to actually land it and the other for gojo to survive long enough for the domain to place enough information in goku's brain to fry it. Both possible but not as likely doubt due to the fact goku is so much faster than gojo as goku in ssjbkk times 10 moves through hits timeskip which is a immeasurable speed feat(above infinite speed) and goku in base moving in trunks erased timeline is an infinite speed feat as time and space was erased yet he could still move in there. Saitama vs gojo is a stomp in gojo's favor has saitama has no win conditions against gojo aside from just blowing up the planet which in character he wouldn't do and he has no condition to bypass gojo's limitless while gojo has domain and his hollow purple as win conditions that could eventually land on saitama if saitama is careless since he is known for letting his enemies hit him but of course in the end this is my opinion so if you dont believe me you dont have to.

You did bring up good points, its just kinda hard to genuinely fight gojo by normal means because you need some reality altering shenanigans. To get through infinity in the first place.
