Crows NEVER forget where it comes from.
If its good... once a friend... ALWAYS a friend.
2019just saw this video so sweet kind people they took peach in looked after him I agree with bill host
Baby crows are so funny and adorable when they eat, they actually go "nomnomnom" ! 😂
Yes, they are! That's exactly how they sound! Thanks for watching!
I'm a tree feller in England. Once we felled an Elm tree and discovered a large crows nest within it with a baby crow in the nest. We left it in a high place overnight in the hope that the parents would come back, in the morning it was evident that they hadn't returned and so I brought the bird home to my wife. Can you believe it, he was perfectly silent and unresponsive with me all the way home and, when I got home, still he wouldn't acknowledge me. Then my wife came in from the shops and called out to me. When he heard her voice it was as though he'd been plugged in, he jumped up and cawed loudly! Isn't that the strange thing?
We looked after the little fella, calling him Bristle because of his immature wings, he grew up, I built a lovely home for him in the garden. He was only in it for one night because the next morning he flew away, joining a flock of crows that were in the area. He regularly flew low over our garden and cawed loudly.
He was a very intelligent bird, used to fall asleep on my shoulder. Good old Bristle, he'll be long gone now, I hope he had a big family.
That is a great story!
So sweet :)

WOW... this is such a sweet story....so glad he got to join other crows, and that he still remembered your kindness, by flying low and cawing loudly.....warms my heart!
Did you manage to save the bird?
I found a 5 day old Northern Cardinal and raised him. I have released him numerous tim s but he kept coming back. He has a huge flight cage in our sunroom that is open all day. He is very much like a crow. He loves anything shiny, steals everything he can and has similar intelligence as he can solve problems and puzzles.
That's great!
I also adopted a blackbird that fell out of a tree when he was a nestling…and he gave me so much joy. If you love these stories, read Wesley The Owl, one of the best books about a bird ever. A woman in California raises a barn owl ; she writes a gorgeous account of Wesley’s profound and fascinating relationship with her.
I had a North Western crow for a 3 yrs. I named him Nod. His fave foods were pancakes, strawbs, worms, and MacDonalds french fries. I still miss Nod. He used to hide his stashes all over the house. Years after he died, I found some food stashes in the rafters along with some pebbles he loved.
Thank you for watching and telling us the story of your Nod. Yes, they do like hiding things! Why did he die?
We believe it was from stress. We had just moved to Malcolm Island from Vancouver, BC, and made a beautiful home for him in a greenhouse, where he was to come and go as he pleased. But 2 days after we moved we found him dead in the greenhouse. Crows in the wild only have a four year survival rate, so we believe he had a good but unusual life for a crow.
Ah that so is sad for you, but as you said you gave him a good and unusual life and without your care wouldn't have had that. xx
Crows get 30 years old ...
@@GamingAmbienceLive They died several times? Thats strange. But, I guess cats do have 9 lifes.
I can't help but love crows. They fascinate me. They are incredibly smart creatures.
We need more kindhearted people in this world 😊
Love the video with Peach. I had a pet crow for 37 wonderful years. She was my life's joy. She passed almost 2 years ago. I miss her every day ❤❤
This is amazing! Thanks for telling us the story of your crow! What country do you live in? It's amazing how attached one can get to these birds! Peach is bringing us so much joy every day! We love him to pieces and hope to share many wonderful years with him! Thanks for watching! There are lots of Peach videos on our channel!
What a privilege it must be to be able to care for such a beautiful little bird.
This is exactly how we feel :-) Thanks for your nice comment and for watching!
I like crows they are very smart birds, made friends with one.
You are right about crows being very smart. Thanks for the comment!
Patricia Smith I know this is an old post but also love crows. How did you make friends with one?
@@mfeltrin1 -I got a family of 6 living outside my house,I gave them Cheese, nuts, muslie(Alpen) they love the rind(fat) off a rib eye steak and they even eat tacos!! and spicy mince meat pizza is a fav.If Im outside in the garden eating food they will come down and stare at me with the mouths open, jesturing to me they want some too,Very inteligent love em.
I rescued a crow this age, his parents and siblings had been shot out of the tree which was a big pine tree, he fell out just as we were passing so I took him home fed him took him to the vet because of a break at the joint of one of his wings...the vet wanted to kill him so I said, if I pay you to fix the wing as best you can, what quality of life would he have? so the vet said he wouldn't probably ever fly properly, and that he had parasites in his throat and feathers both of which we treated, and I ended up taking him home..he used to sit on a perch in a litter tray on the windowsill and he loved me (because I suppose he thought I was his mum, he used to do my eyebrows and sort the front of my hair the way he liked it lol! He lived til around 5 years old but I think that the fall had caused some epilepsy as a few times he had seizures which went away if I held him close with my jumper round him for body heat. Apart from that he was normal, liked hopping about the garden and flying on to my head or shoulder which was about his limit...I really miss him...he was called Pookie after the Mayan god Ah Poohk the destroyer. ..he hated my partner and because of jealously or something he unspooled all my partners music tapes....when he found out that they could be fixed he then picked out all the copper strips with the little felt squares and hid them under the back of the sofa...one very clever very much loved and missed crow!♡♡
Thank you for watching our Peach video and also for telling us the story of your Pookie. This is a very sweet story, they really are such amazing creatures! I am sure you miss him very much! Thanks again and you might like our other Peach videos. We have quite a few of them on our channel and we will make more as Peach is such an important part of our family!
The copper strips Lolol great story ❤😊
You made me cry..thanks
That is just so sweet 😍❤❤
that's so kind of you to do ;; poor baby
It's still before and after leaving! very cute!
Thank you! 😊
That little guy would have laid there and died right where you found him, but you cared enough to make the necessary effort to give him a shot at life. That kind of love and compassion is so badly needed in today's world. It's one of the noblest and finest things an human being can do. Plus, you've got yourself an awesome little buddy! Everybody wins.
Have you seen the video of Betty the crow from New Caledonia solving the 8 step puzzle with the sticks and rocks? Type" crow solves 8 step problem". l knew they were smart, but I had no idea that they were that smart!! If you haven't already seen it, check it out. You'll be pleasantly amazed!!!
They are extraordinary creatures ! One of the very few animals on Earth to learn to use tools in the wild.
Yes, they really are! Thanks for watching!
Grey parrots are just as smart, although they require much more care in terms food and attention.
Val O'Brien An insect is considered an animal, I'm pretty sure a bird is one too
i wish all humans were this kind.. God Bless and thank you.
Thank you for a nice comment!
We built our magpie a very large aviary and a wild magpie would pop into it for some uninterrupted naps, so the other wild magpies could not bother him. He moved in with another wild magpie for three years. They now live in a large tree at the end of our street with their two babies.
That's great!
Gayle Owens Thank you for sharing that beautifully sweet story Gayle. Your magpie is lucky to have found someone as sweet as you.
When I was a teenager my dad found a crow chick that had fallen from the nest. We raised him and called him Thaddeus. His favorite thing was to harass cats. He could fly perfectly, but never flew higher than about 6 feet off the ground. He was wonderful pet.
What a great story about Thaddeus.
This is great, I've seen many stories like this one and to those who are as charmed by these wonderful creatures I can suggest something. If you have a place near you where birds frequent, you can get them to start interacting with you. Did this with sparrows in Switzerland, it's really cool to have these wild birds acting like your pets, yet totally undomesticated. Great video thanks.
The funny little noises it makes when its eating! :D
Yes, isn't he sweet? Thanks for watching and commenting!
Wonderful! I never thought that crows can be domesticated. Really awesome!
We never intended to domesticate him. As he had fallen out of the nest as a new hatchling, he needed human assistance to survive. As we were hand feeding him, he became imprinted on us and did not identify himself with other crows any more. This is why he didn't get along with other crows at the rehab place where he spent over two weeks and we had to bring him back home.
Cute when he's tugging on the flower.
Thanks for watching! Yes, he is a very playful little bird!
This video brought back memories from fifty years ago, when I had “Clyde”. He could not hold his head up, due to his young age. Mom came up with a plastic Kool Whip bowl and some flannel scraps to build his nest. After eating he backed his butt to the edge of the bowl and let fly. The bowl sat in a big cardboard box lined with lots of newspapers. When he was able to fly he became the greeter on the farm. After a couple months crows from the woods wooed him with promises.........
That feeding sound was Clyde all over again. Thank you for being good people.
Thanks for watching, Robert, and telling us the story of your Clyde!
You've done a great thing by taking this bird in and caring for him. Good for you both! 👏😍 Lucky crow!
Thank you!
These birds are so smart.
They are indeed! Thanks for watching!
They sure are! Peach just keeps amazing us with his intelligence every day! Thanks for watching and commenting! We have a lot more Peach videos!
I love Crows. They are so smart and interesting to watch.
I hav just build a bird feeding station from left-over material from my builder/carpenter, I had great joy building this.. Birds are force of Divine!!
That's great!
From one bird lover/rescuer to another, "well done." Wonderful, people like you make the world a little nicer! Thank you for sharing...
Thanks for a nice comment! Yes, birds are such wonderful little creatures and any one of them needing human assistance should get it! :-)
Thank you for saving one of my favourite birds, I really appreciate that.
So glad to hear that you love crows, Thomas! Thanks for watching! We now have three of them and a magpie, all rescued.
Awww !!!😍😍
Thank you so much for rescuing your lovely crow Peach. God Bless you for your wonderful humanity, compassion, and caring for God's loving animals. I ADORE crows.
i wouldn't comprehend why anyone would dislike this video for.. nicely done guys! the world needs people like you indeed..
Thank you very much for your nice words. There will always be people who disagree with others have their own opinions.
What a beautiful bird. I love crows & ravens. So intelligent.
you did good helping the crow.
Thanks for watching! Peach turned into a real family member for us!
I love crows. Especially when I am hiking in the woods and mountains. They are my friends.
Thanks for watching, James! They really are amazing birds!
Wow, i know people who aren't this caring with their own kids. You are amazing.
this is such a touching story. My family has tried to save birds with no success. it is wonderful to watch this little guy grow up
Thanks for watching and commenting! We have only had luck saving, raising and releasing crows and pigeons previously. We haven't had any success with smaller, song birds. We took Peach to wildlife rehab to have him released, but it turned out he had become imprinted on us, so we had to bring him back home after over two weeks at the rehab. He is our family member now. We have quite a few videos of Peach.
Well done! :) I think crows are my favorite birds, they are just so playful and intelligent. Saw one sunbathing once on the embankment. It wasn't moving at all, lying on it's belly flat on the embankment, wings spread out, while lot's of people were passing by. I thought it might be sick and stopped. All I got was a bit of a sitting up and a very annoyed look: nothing to see, I am just sunbathing, walk away, you are bothering me! I walked away and the crow spread her wings again and continued to enjoy the sun as any other Human was doing in that area. You've got to love them! :)
Yes, I've seen crows sunbathing like that, too. Their beaks are even open in the hot sun and wings are spread out. That looks so funny :-) Thanks for watching!
Very nice. The world needs more people like you. Thank you for saving, caring and loving Peach.
Remarkable People you are. Thank you so much for taking the time to rescue and raise this little Peach of a bird.
I love that you gave him the most natural "start" possible, including the opportunity to fledge & leave... You did everything his parents would have done, while simply providing warmth & safety (bravo with that tiny cage:) So well done! I'm so happy how things ultimately turned out, not that he couldn't be free... but that you were blessed with each other:)
Thanks for watching and for your very kind comment, Anna!
this is wonderful........I feed our crows and ravens ( upstate NY) and they yell when they see me as they know a lot of times I have peanuts in shells .......they seem to love them
Yes, crows really are amazing birds! So intelligent and sophisticated! Yes, they love peanuts! They also love hard boiled eggs and cooked rice! Thanks for watching this older video!
I am going to try the hard boiled egg...........seem to love cookies also.....lol......very interesting stuff
Birds love eggs. Chickens even love eggs. I raise chickens and they LOVE a boiled or scrambled egg! 😄😉❤🐓 Kinda odd if you ask me.....but then I love eggs, too. 😃 🐣 (Our eggs are never fertile because we have no roosters)
@@chv72 I don't go anywhere without a pocket of raw peanuts. :-)
What a precious baby! Crows are so smart! Thank you for caring for him :)
Awesome! You are so lucky to have this gift.
Thank you very much! We are feeling truly blessed having little Peach in our life! :-)
Such a beautiful crow. 💗
Thanks! Peach is a great companion to us:-)
My grandparents had a pet crow that flew in & out of the house. It liked bright shiny objects and one day flew off with an an expensive gold watch that it had found on the ktchen counter. They never found it!
I've heard they can do that! Thanks for watching!
Luv it! Crows are very intelligent birds.
They really are! Thanks for watching!
God bless you for taking care of this sweet and wonderful creature
Thank you and thanks for watching!
God bless you and all who are so kind. I am humbled by actions like these.
It is man's sympathy with all creatures trat first makes him truly a man.

Wonderful that you saved the little crow!
+Richard Parker Thank you
God gave man dominion over all the creatures not to be cruel but only take what we need. Good job.
Great, awesome comment!
Crows are my favorite animal!
I love it how they don't fly away. They think of you as family when you raise them
Peach is imprinted on us and thinks of us as his family. Thanks for watching!

It's hard to see Peach nap. Every time when we have tried to sneak by to film him while sleeping, he always wakes up! He puts his head under his wing while sleeping, it's so lovely! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching! We have rescued a few more birds lately as you can see from our latest videos!
I’ve had two magpies, both were blown from their nest and rescued. They were both funny to watch. One used to hang upside down on the washing.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart…
Beautiful people love nature ❤
I love this video. What a beautiful little guy he is. You did a great job raising him. :)

Smartest bird by far. I had one when I was young.
The crow is my spirit Animal!! Crows will help you find stuff!! Very smart animal!! Lol
Yes, they are very intelligent. We see that from daily interactions with him. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I like that Peach was trusting you from the beginning!
A sensational and loving ball of fluff. I like birds, because
they are asperger's friendly, I don't piss them off by accident.
Actually I may do occasionally if I change food etc, but they
don't get offended by ill chosen words.
Thanks for watching! Birds really are amazing creatures!
Michael Davis Lol very true. In fact, there are times where they enjoy those words so much that they repeat those words over and over again:)
One word: BEAUTIFUL
24nikita and handsome ☺️
Full of love. Peach is a lucky and happy bird. He loves massage. ha ha ha.... So cute!
Thank U for this. I ♥️ Crows. It is very difficult to gain their trust. U gained a loyal little friend. I'm envious. I would love to have one...
i dont really understand how someone would give this video a thumbs down the world is sick. you've done a great job
They give thumbs down simply because they can! :-) Thanks for watching and for your kind comment!
np sir.just keep up thumbs up
Some people are upset when crows are kept as pets. Particularly if they are kept as fledglings or younger because they will not develop the language of their species and will not be able to be released later. Many times fledglings are found on the ground and the parents are hidden. This usually happens when they are learning to fly. I understand that this story is about a baby bird, not a fledgling. I agree that fledglings are to be left alone, and agree that these birds should not be pets under ordinary circumstances. Saving one is just that, keeping it from death, which is fine as long as the person saving it is dedicated to keeping it healthy and isn't breaking any laws.
It was probably a cat.
My grandmother had a crow when I was a teen. She rescued him with the intent that after he was well, he would fly away. He didn't, so she build him a roast near the chicken pen. After a while he would bring friends around and leave but always come back. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching and telling us the story of your childhood crow! They really are adorable birds!
Bless you for looking after him.XX
He is a very fortunate bird that you found him and have such a lovely yard to play in as he grows up. I look forward to watching him grow. Crows are so smart!

Thank you!
Ravens and crows are just the best . Robins are fab though , on their own like tiny little things and so brave .
God bless you. What a handsome stud he grew up to be. Crows are so cute with their big beaks. Crows are sacred. I don't quite understand why or how but I know they are special and have adored them since I was real young.
Great human save animals life. Thanks
Lovely video. Beautiful bird. You are taking care of him very nicely.
Thanks for watching and for your nice comment! We have a lot more Peach videos!
The sound the baby crow makes when it eats is kinda funny and cute.
When I was young I would speak with the crows while I waited for the school bus. It would be early morning and I would call to them and they would answer. I really enjoyed my morning talks with them 😊❤️
Thanks for watching and telling us this beautiful story about talking to the crows while waiting for the school bus! :-) They are such intelligent birds!
Great video. I love how you show the progression.

Thanks for watching and for your kind words!
So enjoyed watching your beautiful bird Peach. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
So lovely! Peach seems like a very curious bird. Also very sweet that he finds his cage safe and cozy (:
You are such a lucky person to have given a wonderful gift of really knowing a crow. You can teach them to speak, I think, for they like to mimick. Maybe it was Raven? I don't remember exactly. You've got to look it up on internet. They've tons of experts to assist you for Peach raising properly. Peach and you are both lucky to have found each other. A fantastic serendipity. Not too many of us gets so lucky. I'm very happy for you. Fantastic! Brilliant! Please keep posting on 🍑 Peach. Love her name too. Thank you for caring for her, you are a wonderful person. Really! 👍🌺🍁🌻🍂🌷🌷🎈🌾🌿☘️🍀🌱💐

Awwwwww, Peach is adorable. I really enjoyed your video of him. He is so tame I would not leave him alone outside. He is so cute, loved him getting into his cage for a rest.
Since he is imprinted on us, we can't leave him alone outside as he might get in trouble. He has a huge cage now that he likes very much. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I love crows!!!
