That will be a superb rollover jig John, should make things a lot easier for you. You don't normally see the rams on these things, a great addition certainly.
Good for you on putting the euro headlights on the 280, as the majority, if not all, of 6.3 cars had the H4 single headlights. Thankfully, I bought my head gaskets when they were still available from Mercedes.
I like the Euro headlights, but from the looks of it, the glasses seem to be for left-side-of-the-road traffic. Also, are the bulbs (should be Bilux for the high/low beams and an odd bayonet bulb for the fog lights) readily available in the USA?
You're right. They are for a left side of the road car, But I figured no big deal. If I get pulled I'll deal with it:) As far as the other question? I'm really not sure, I'll be looking into fitment in the next month or so. Thanks for your comments. Cheers John.
@mercedesmaintenance.6339 thank you, for answer, not yet I will test my first, but I was trying to find som on the net, I suppose it is very hard to come by. 😅
Thank you for all the fantastic work you do to restore that beautiful machine!
I really appreciate your comment. Its a lot of work, but also a ton of fun. Cheers John.

I think they'll look great on the 68. I've always loved the Euro lights. Those gaskets are certainly a bit on the expensive side:) Cheers John.

One thing to do with those Euro headlights is get the reflectors refinished.
Great channel. 👍🏼 If the headlights are from Oz the glass lenses may be RHD Not LHD
Any tutorials on UA-cam,
Or elsewhere, of that refinishing of the reflectors? I have 2 pair that need this. Thx.
@@1967250s send them to a metal refinishing place. The coating on headlight reflectors is not for the home handyperson to do.
Hi Chris! I will look into that, hope you're doing well mate. Cheers John.
