Sebastian is an awesome town, used to vacation there twice a year for 3 weeks at a time and there’s soooo much to do. Beaches are plentiful to say the least. Lots of trails to hike/walk, tons and tons of wildlife, not too crowded, most of the residents are older so there’s no real “partying” anywhere just people hanging out maybe some music and drinks. Only an 60-90 minutes from Orlando and a few hours north of the SoFlo communities. Really is an awesome place to have fun any time of the year!
There are other beaches on east coast shore as well so its not just that one that is good up North. You hardly feel springbreak up here. But schools are not nice here…so its not worth it even private schools when you talk to locals. Bullying is bad and a few days back heard from a local a bunch of kids used frozen bb gun beads on pedestrains as some social media trend and cops are investigating. Alot of crime. You constantly hear helicopters or cops cars. If you are from a ghetto city like NYC then this place will feel like home. And retirees dont have schools to worry about so they dont have a clue how bad it really is.
