Hello dear friends :) I hope you are all having a wonderful day! Have you tried any of the products that I mentioned in this video? And do you gave any recommendations for me? xoxo P. S. If you want to see the Hermes dupes right away then go to 19: 25 of the video :) I show arm swatches and lip swatches ;)
You are amazing Angela I love these series 💕 there are some affordable dupes and good products nyx has some great eye pencils 💕 Milani has good blushes and eyeshadows too
I’m very excited to try the Hermes dupes . I bought my first Hermes lipstick last month and just love it! I also purchased the Em cosmetics blush and eyeshadow pallet. A bonus - right now they are 25% off site wide.
@@nadiadncr Hi Nadia :) Thank you so much for the wonderful suggestions. I've used NYX in the past and I remember they had really good products. I will definitely go to their store soon. xoxo
Thank you for the amount of time you spent on the lipstick dupes. That was quite a bit of effort! Not sure in Europe, but in the US, MAC has many products available in "pro palette" packaging, which is refillable. So you can buy a palette, then just buy the refill. It makes the products very inexpensive if you do this. For example, one eyeshadow as a refill is $9 vs $21. Powder is $19 vs $40.
Oh thank you so much for sharing Elizabeth :) This sounds lovely. Here it's a little different. The products are more expensive and there are not as many products. But I remember when I was in the US MAC was very impressive. Actually I will go and ask in our MAC shop if there are such options. Maybe I didn't see. Once again thank you so much for the information. It's really valuable to me. xoxo
Hi Angela! I used to be a regularną watcher of your videos but due to being very busy last month I have a big backlog. Nów I am on sick leave and I'm trying to get updated with your videos because I enjoy spending time with you 😊Thank you very much for suggesting Camelia highlighter dupe. I didn't buy it and so much regret it. But if Mac gives the same effect which was gorgeous on your face, I will go for it 😊♥️ Xoxo!
Dear Angela, thank you for your in dept comparisons for the Hermes lipstick - it is really an extrodinary colour and in terms of look on the lips I think the Guerlain one comes so close to the finish the Hermes one gives. I'm thinking of picking it up - Guerlain has amazing lipstick formualtions that last for me all day without having to always touch up. Hope you have a great Sunday! ♡
@@luciasaunders9736 Same here - the Legendary Reds Collection was my favourite and the comfort is unbelievable. Even with eating and drinking in-between.
Hello and a huge thank you for watching! The lipstick is gorgeous and I would definitely recommend it. Initially I purchased the Guerlain lipstick just to be able to show it in this video but now it's one of my most work colors. You can't go wrong with this shade. Have a wonderful week :) xoxo
I have tried all the brands that you featured on today’s video. I haven’t used some of those brands in a while, but they do work well. 👍🏻💄 I love the L’Oréal Infallible Foundation 24 Hour Fresh Wear and Maybelline Fit Me Matte Foundation. You do need to prep your skin but both of them are long lasting and good drugstore options in my humble opinion. Thank you, thank you for your recommendations, Angela! I hope Angela and all of you have a great weekend! 🇫🇷💄🤩💝💕❤️🙆🏻♀️🥰
Hi Christina :) Thank you so much! The infallible foundation is on my wish list but I'm waiting for the right shade to be restocked in my local retailers. Usually in Italy drugstore foundations are a bit deep and for some reason they don't sell the palest shades. I will travel soon so maybe I will find a shade match for me. Have a wonderful day and as always thank you so much for watching my video. xoxo
Hi gorgeous Angela. Happy weekend. One of my favorite places to go when in Europe are of course the museum. Restaurants and then the Farmacy. They have so many brands of affordable makeup. I have seen Bourjois and MaxFactor. Here in US I believe you can get them from Amazon. A couple of weeks ago I bought two eyeshadow palettes from Zara!! They look beautiful and swatch great. Haven’t try them just jet. Have a great weekend. 🥰🥰🥰
Hi my beautiful Gloria, you know I've seen makeup at Zara and it actually looks very nice. Maybe I should try their makeup too. Please let me know how you like the palettes when you use them. Sending you hugs. xoxo
I have recommendation for affordable eyeliners for you 😊 I dipped into the high end makeup about 2 years ago but I’m not willing to change my eyeliners because they are perfect. The cheapest is CLIO sharp so simple pencil liner (Korean brand can be purchased on their website or yesstyle etc) cacao brown is so beautiful colour and it truly doesn’t smudge. However Japanese pen eyeliners are THE BEST. Kiss me Heroine or Loveliner! I’m sure you’d love them it would be great if you could try and review them!
Thank you so much for making this video. It’s obvious you are experienced in high end makeup. Since my husband and I are retired I need to find more affordable makeup. I am returning to Chanel a powder blush that is dry and not much color payoff. Also a lipstick that doesn’t last. It takes time to find makeup that works well on each of us.
Hi Bonnie :) Thank you so much for watching my video . I will keep exploring more affordable products in the future. I received so many suggestions here in the comments. Have a wonderful week! xoxo
Hi Angela ! This makeup is flawless! I love MAC products . But at the drugstore, my favorite brand is L’Oréal and for some products, Covergirl, specially the simply ageless line (Covergirl + Olay), are very good. Thank you so much for this video ! Love you ! ❤️
Hi Amira :) Thank you so much for the lovely suggestions. I've never tried Covergirl and I should. Olay have gorgeous products! Sending you much love. xoxo
Ciao Angela. I am Italian living in South Africa. You are a classy lady and I enjoy your makeup style and trust your recommendations! Please try the Revlon superlustrous lipsticks especially the colour: beaming strawberry…. It gives life to the lips and fades beautifully leaving a healthy slight tint behind.? Also try the essence highlighter. I was fortunate enough to be able to go to New York this year when my husband went on a business trip and brought my very precious list of recommendations… mostly from you. As we don’t have Sephora here and very little selection, I was so excited when I found some of your recommendations and felt like a princess! Grazie Bella Angela! ❤
I am South African. All the "drugstore" (what we call pharmacies) products are widely available throughout the country and will be found at Clicks and Dischem, the cosmetics aisles of all food retailers as well as retailers such as Edgar's, Foschini and Woolworths amongst others. These retailers as well as Arc (Clicks luxury lines), stock everything from the "drugstore" ranges through to the luxury lines including Sisley and La Prairie - of course in certain cases, mostly in the larger cities. The only brand not available in SA (to my knowledge) is Cle de Peau, and this I purchase online from Niemann Marcus. Almost every luxury brand ships free to SA from Europe as well as the USA if they don't have stores here. There is however a stronger European (including UK) influence in cosmetics and clothing. American pop culture is seen in fast food, music etc.
What an intensiv video, thank you. The products from MAC are really interesting. My problem is always to find a good working brown mascara. I prefer brown mascara because it is more natural and fitts better to green eyes, that is what I think. Yes, the lipsticks of Guerlain are a good alternative, I like them and they don't dry the lips.🙂
Hi Vera and thank you so much for watching my video :) Brown mascara looks very natural but since my hair is very dark it doesn't really suit me. I always wear black and I sadly can't recommend a good brown mascara. In the past Dior used to have a gorgeous brown mascara - it was the iconic overcurl. It was the most beautiful shade of brown but I think it was limited edition. I know a lot of people prefer brown mascaras so I will have a look if I can find something good. xoxo
Oh, no problem! Once I used the brown mascara from Guerlain, I think it was, but it dried so fast, a pitty. I will find a mascara 😀 On the other hand I heard that mascara should be replaced all 3 month. So I could try Guerlain again 🙂 Have a good time and !
Thank you for the great detailed video. I love your makeup look and you are a classic beauty! I am almost 74 yrs old and live in Florida. I have been caring for my skin my entire adult life however I do have sun damage, larger pores and texture, some of which is genetic. I love the red lip that you wear so beautifully but because I am light blonde with hazel eyes and a complexion that leans olive toned, I usually wear a CD rose gold lip balm. I feel most confident with and minimal makeup look. Chanel Les Beiges healthy glow bronzing cream helps to even out my skin better than any foundation. I can literally wear it with Lancôme rose nude blush and a tiny bit of concealer. The eyeshadow you presented here is perfect for the look I wear. I would love any recommendations and suggestions. Thank you for giving this community lovely videos to stir our creative minds!!! ♥️♥️
Hi Dee :) and a huge thank you for the lovely words and for watching my videos. It means so much to me. Have you ever tried fuchsia color lipsticks? I think that a fuchsia colored lipstick will look gorgeous on you. Of course there are a lot of different nuances of fuchsia since it's a mixture of red and pink but I find that this color in particular looks gorgeous on olive skin tone and and blondes. You can experiment a little when you go shopping; swatch different colors. You may be pleasantly surprised. The challenging part will be finding the right one for you. xoxo
@@Frenchforaday Thank you Angela for the reply and suggestion. I have not tried a fuchsia, but something a little similar from MAC a few years ago that looked pretty but bold on my lips. I loved it so much I bought 3 tubes because it was being discontinued.. I haven’t worn it since then. My concern is also that my lips are beginning to get thinner so I don’t want to make that so noticeable. BTW, I love your name, Angela, it was my grandmother’s name who passed before I was born, my sister’s name and also my daughter’s name! Beautiful!!♥️
Hi Sara :) I think you will like some of the EM cosmetics products. Especially the blushes. I believe you will love the one that I used - Venetian Rose blush. It is similar to Chanel's Water Fresh tint in Warm pink which I know is your favorite. You need a very small drop just like the water fresh tint. Their eyeshadows are lovely too. xoxo
Angela, you should try also the Revlon So Fierce Prismatic palettes, they really looks high end. I haven't tried the Max Factor one but I will for sure, I love their mascaras and lipsticks!
Hi Nausikaa, Thank you so much for the lovely suggestion. I will look into those for sure. I really like Max Factors eyeshadows. If you can try them. I think you won't be disappointed. xoxo
One of my favorite affordable products is Maybelline Infallible liquid foundation, I honestly don’t know why I keep buying higher end foundations. It gives you such a beautiful, natural finish, it’s buildable and my skin still looks great 8 hours later. The Infallible face powder is good too, though it is actually a powder foundation…but if you use it lightly, it makes a nice finishing powder. I just wish more drugstore brands would go cruelty free.
Hi Geslina :) This foundation was on my list to try but sadly I couldn't find a shade match for myself. All shades at my nearest retailers were way to dark for me. Now that you mentioned it I will keep looking if they restock a paler shade. xoxo
I used to love Max Factor products. I thought they were the best drug store brand. Unfortunately it was discontinued here in the US over a decade ago. I was flying through Heathrow and was shocked to see it available a few years later. Nowadays I strictly use luxury skincare and makeup. I've tried finding less costly alternatives but I ended up just wasting money as I would just end up barely using the cheaper stuff and throwing it out. The only less-costly brands for skincare that I like are Vichy and LA Roche-Posay. Otherwise I'll stick with Guerlain. Dior, YSL, Givenchy, Anna Sui, and Pure Fiji. 😊
I thought the Bourjois lipstick was the best color on you--and I thought there was a big enough difference that you should use that one over the other ones! 🙂
Hi Angela I love that you're trying new lower price cosmetics. However, I cannot find a lower price lipstick. I have a problem with lipstick leaving a lip liner look (ring around the mouth). I use Chanel Rouge Allure and it last all day. Do you know of another option? Thanks 😊

The only dupe I have ever found that matched the look and feel of the Hermes lipstick was a Chanel lipstick...but then it's a Chanel and can't be considered a 'dupe' LOL.
My experience is that even when you find something you like, high end or not, it is changed or bought out. I used Becca makeup for years, loved it but it was bought our by Estee Lauder and they absolutely ruined a fantastic product. It has now been discontinued.
EM Cosmetics products are really dupes of Korean products sold for higher price to Western consumers that don't know the Korean ones. Try Apieu Juicy Pang liquid blushes instead
Lipstick subtitlesL I kept evaluating and kept finding one that looked better brought your skin more alive FYI it was the Hermes,,,,just a subjective take....G

If it helps I tend to find BORGOIS on eBay since their exit from the UK xx happy hunting x
Lookfantastic US are restocking them now. They used to have them and soon they should be available again. xoxo
Thank you for your reply
I found the brand on Amazon however not the color - I’ll keep checking back to see when Lookfantastic restocks ☺️

Thank you for watching, Charli! Have a wonderful week ahead. xoxo
Lorel foundations in my opinion are as good as my high end and is the only drug store foundation in my collection.
Hi Cali :) Could you please tell me one or two that are your favorites. this will help a lot :) I will keep trying for sure and a little guidance will be very highly appreciated. xoxo
