We think this is a pretty tough quiz. There are a few intermediate level questions to start you off, but things get difficult. Well done (and comment below) if you get more than 50%! As ever, we'd love to hear your thoughts on the bonus question.
2 correct. But I like that the books, chapters, and verses are listed so I can go back and read all the context again to become familiar with the word once again. Life gotten in the way for far too long.
Yes, I think it's important to give the Bible references so you can look these up in contexts. Hope you enjoyed the quiz, even though it was one of our tough ones. God bless.
17/20. El Shaddai!!! When I call on El Shaddai, I am greatly encouraged, being reminded of Paul’s proclamation to the Ephesians: “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end!” If that scripture doesn’t generate confidence in God’s ability to handle any situation, nothing will! Hallelujah! Thank Jesus!
Thank you, after reading the Bible with my kids we played this trivia, we knew many and learned from the ones we didn't 🤍🙌🕊️📖 thank you and God bless 🕊️
Jonah 1:3 KJV 1 Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, 2 Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. 3 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD Jonah was told to go to Ninevah by the Lord God, but he tried to flee to Tarshish by ship instead.
very good mix of questions, very thought provoking esp with the beatitudes question as Jesus didn't say you'll go to heaven, but rather they will inherit the earth
El-Shaddai My 3rd girl is named Chaddai, meaning What a Mighty Work God Has Done! The devil was after her in utero and he lost AND our marraige was restored at that time. He IS All-Powerful
Jonah was traveling to Tarshish when he was attempting to flee from God. Here's Jonah 1:3 "But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish". Eventually he went to Nineveh though.
The word Lord does not always refer to God Almighty. Sometimes it may reference Jesus and sometimes masters. Wherever ancient scrolls mention the Tetragrammaton in its script, JEHOVAH (God Almighty) should be printed in the Bible. Unfortunately many Bible translations have omitted Gods Personal name and replaced it with the Title Lord. Lovingly Jehovah God has preserved his own name in the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. Over 7000 his Great name appears there. After all, it IS HIS WORD. Amen.
