watching and listening from Philippines,God bless the congregations there, now,by watching the sermon of Pastor Skip, reading Bible sense and it made it more clearly to me🙏
Thank you Skip, Steve (my husband) and I have really enjoyed studying with you through the Torah. We do a study with you every day. We look forward to starting Joshua next.
Wow. Thank you Pastor Skip THANK YOU! Why has no one explained this to me before! I'm 60 yo and NOW I know that its OK ...first, to have that wierd negative feeling about God creating some without sight and other afflictions and 2. Well, now I can't say it like you did but I got it! Lol I got it! I feel so much better! The freedom! I know, that uneasy feeling, like you described about not being OK with a God who chooses? Or however it comes to be so, HE IS GOD. A LOVING GOD. THE ALPHA & OMEGA ALL KNOWING, OMNIPRESENT, OMNIFICENT , ....ONLY HE KNOWS WHY, WHERE, & HOW. I'M sorry for going on and on! 🤗😂😍🙏 😇
Wow Skip, I'm at a point in my life right now where vengeance is on my mind more than I care for I guess; and this message is what I needed to hear. Dark times require a bright light and this was it........thanks.
Thanks Pastor Skip. As you mentioned, verse 32:39 can be troubling. So with regard to when natural disasters strike and people are killed such as tornados or earthquakes - would these be instances where God “kills”? Or even when a thunderstorm causes a plane to crash? Or like death - is it because of man’s sin and the Fall? (In Genesis 3:17 God says “cursed is the ground because of you..”) So because of sin we inhabit a lost cursed physical world - that brings forth thorns and thistles …. and natural disasters and stinging bugs and poison ivy and all the rest! Also, I know some people feel sad about Moses dying at the end of Deuteronomy. But it’s worth remembering that - as believers - we will one day meet him face to face - along with all the other great people of God in the Bible. And we have all eternity to get to know them!
