- Watch Beagle puppy's first year month by month!
See when Smudge was a tiny 2 month old puppy with everything new and as a 3 month old pup playing with toys!
At least beginning to discover walks outside her home after her vaccinations have taken affect at 4 months.
Even more freedom as a 5 month old beagle puppy when she is able to go off-leash and run freely at the beach.
As a 6 month old beagle Smudge's world to continuing to expand as she discovers new paths and keeping up running fast and free!
At 7 months, Smudge the beach beagle meets other beach beagles!
Onto 8 months, and Smudge developing her beagle love of hole digging and chilling out on her bed.
At 9 months old there is still more running, climbing, exploring and training as she grows into an older puppy.
At 10 months her beagle curiosity gives her some fun at home.
Soon Smudge is an 11 month old beagle and progressing her socialisation in cafes.
Twelve months old, Smudge doing one of her favourite activities - playing on the beach with her doggy friend, celebrating being a one year old beagle!

Yes Stephen - you are right - she is all of those things. A very lovely nature, and an absolute star. Definitely a scamp sometimes too! Not a day goes by without an attempt at sock thievery, and she doesn't like her blankets or towels on the washing line, tries to pull them off. I've just put a photo of her from this morning trying to beagle her blanket on her Community Page so you can see her in action. 💙🐾
Just realised I didn't answer your question about her siblings. She did meet another beagle at the beach recently who we thought possibly might have been her nephew, and there is a chance of seeing her parents and a sister again at some stage which would be amazing. Nothing planned as they live a few hours away but definitely a possibility at some point.
Small feet and cuteness is unspeakable. 🐾

Haven’t seen this before! Smudge was so tiny - everything/everyone was bigger and taller than she was; also higher than she could reach. But her sheer joy here is bigger and taller than everything!! Thank you for this delightful reminder.
Thanks Sheila. This is one of our favourite videos. Smudge's first year, month by month she got bigger physically and the colours of her coat changed slightly, but her curiosity and enthusiasm was a constant.

Oh yes - Smudge does love digging holes! Her birthday was in August but it just took me a while to get around to making the video of her first year😍. But really wanted to as it has so many lovely memories of how she has changed - every month she was growing into the lovely beagle she is. 💙💛🧡

Omg 😍 so cute I rescued a beagle he was being kicked and chased by some kids , I chased the boys away and ran 2 long blocks to get to him before he almost ran into traffic I drove Miles to a person I contacted that runs a dog rescue he was scanned for mirco chip no luck, but he was put up for adoption before that he was fostered . This dog was amazing he appeared to be abused .but he got is happy ending before being dumped by someone's girl friend that didn't like the dog in a different town .it was a long sad story..but your beagle is amazingly beautiful.
