Hiking to Winding Stairs on the Little Missouri River at Albert Pike Recreation Area in Arkansas

Thanks for being here! This is one of my favorite areas in Arkansas! This hike is around 4.5 miles out and back from the Winding Stairs Trailhead at Albert Pike Recreation Area to the infamous spot on the Little Missouri River! There are 2 water crossings on this hike, Blaylock Creek and the Little Missouri River. Remember to check water levels before attempting to cross the water. This entire area can easily have flash floods! No cell service

Omg I know the bugs love me! I'm just using a tick and mosquito spray from walmart right now, and sometimes I wear the mosquito bracelets around my wrists and ankles! I like spray with DEET in it, that usually works better! I get eaten up though bc it's Arkansas, and they love my fair skin! I have bites right now, lol! I need to get a sun hoodie. Therefore, Im protected from the sun and bugs! Hope that helps! Thanks so much for being here!
