National Security Minister Fitzgerald Hinds said he is very proud and confident of the work he has done so far.
• Hinds was responding to questions from members of the media during a press conference at the Office of the Ministry of National Security in Port of Spain on Monday 21st July 2024.
• With more than 54 murders for the month of July alone, and two weekends ago, the country recording 18 murders, Hinds has ignored calls for him to be removed and/or resign.
• Hinds was asked by the media what he thought about his performance and in response, he said that he would not be able to rate himself, and that citizens were allowed to freely express their views.
