    2, practise regularly

I have found that Head-Voice becomes easier after the voice has developed. I had difficulty singing in head voice (it was next to impossible) in 9th grade, now that I'm almost 12th, I have had moments where I have been able to sing in head voice.

A friend of mine on Smule who's taking voice lessons with you guys recommended me this video and your school. 1) you are so dynamic, precise, energetic, and funny too. 2) I think everyone wants to have you as a voice coach! 3) I understand better what is exactly this head voice that ppl talks about. I love your presentation. Well done! I've subscribed!

Since the lockdown has begun, I've been trying to learn to stretch my range "again". Your coaching on accessing the whistle register has been successful for me. I've learn how to do it last 2018 and I've been trying to grasp the control for it. I can now go from Bb5 up to 2 octaves above the high C with the reverse phonation and has been able to hit some notes on the 6th octave in the normal phonation. I'm currently watching your vocal coaching for the flageolet and for head voice. Please do a separate coaching focused on flageolet only(referring to the an episode that has the flageolet and falsetto). Thanks, your contents are very helpful👍

This video is super useful for those singing in choirs that are used to singing weighty opera arias and solo pieces. In an attempt to "sing softer", I was clenching down on my larynx, tongue, etc so much that I couldn't even get through the end of rehearsals. It was so bad, I was physically squeezing every last note out and was SO tired afterwards (talk about vocal nodes danger zone!) I'm excited to see my improvements now that I understand what's going on under the hood! Thank you!!

And in my nation, there are only few literature will talking about it. As always, I think the architecture of your speech help me more about the vocal studying that I'm doing, far more than the question you answer every time! I'm from Taiwan. Hi Justin, this was an amazing lesson. My question is do all females have the separation you mention when using their head voice? My favorite female singer has always been Stevie Nicks. Many of her songs are sung In a rang that I can sing in without ever needed to go into falsetto. To me it Sounds like her head voice is closer to a mans head voice then a women's thus allowing a guy like me being able to cover her songs without falsetto. Am I making any sense ?

Question though: today the song 'More than words' came on and I was trying to sing along with it. I've developed a very bright sound in head voice and like a baby's cry in mix. I watched plenty of videos about the difference between falsetto and headvoice, but I still don't really know how to tell them apart.
But, please say if I am correct: falsetto is much more used by males when singing, specially in pop music, and headvoice is like the high notes that rockstars usually do (maybe it is a mix voice with more headvoice...?).
Am I right? XD Could you give more examples of songs with headvoice and falsetto?
By the way, your videos are always great! =D

I sing tenor in a choir I really do want to learn how to sing in the headvoice because im straining to much now.

It was 5 months ago,, so did you get better? I find exercises like tis in the video, where you start high and go low a good way to improve your head voice for the lower register.

You know what might help you? Just do scales from the highest falsetto note to the lowest FALSETTO note without breaking into chest voice. Classical training involves this sometimes, it helps with head to chest and chest to head transitions. It helped me a great deal.

Mic Ku care to elaborate just a bit on that ? You mean going down in scales from highest pitched falsetto to the lowest pitch notes (that normally are produced by chest voice ) but doing it with falsetto mechanism all the way down?
