This is easily my favorite Fallout ambience video. Here's why, there's movement, not just a dumb picture, so I have decent view. The distant gun fire REALLY sets the mood but it's not so much that my brain registers the pattern and recognizes the loop. There's no music, so I can pick the music if I want to play any. This is what the wasteland should feel like to me, vast and dry. The earlier games captured that better, lots of just open baked earth on the map of Fallout 3, so everything you found mattered even just a couple rusted out trailers... whereas the map of Fallout 4 is crammed with story and events so much that it feels crowded, smaller. This image captures that old vast open emptiness of the wasteland. Thank you. It's perfect. Make more.
I know this might be a bit much to ask, can you tell me where you found this? I wanna get a piece of ambient from inside Repconn Headquarters, the planetarium to be precise, do you know where I can find it?
Clint Eastwood's face unfortunately, I don't remember exactly where I recorded this. About repconn, you can just travel there, activate the console to slow time and get the moment you prefer and press record. I'm using plays.tv for the actual recording, it is simple enough.
This might sound crazy but I sleep to this every night. With so many hours, late hours that is I guess it's been a normal sound for me when I sleep. I have listened to this sound since 2010 and now I literally can't sleep without it, so thank truly for this video.... I sound crazy lol. Goodnight all!! 😍😊😴

Ambient VG Great, I have never seen anyone cover it which is odd considering it had some of the best ambients i have heard in a game. It think it has something to do with your character having a gas mask that constantly needs filters.
Idk if you’re still around but possibly could you make a video of fallout 3’s point lookout swamp at night? There’s just something about the crickets and frogs that melt me away to sleep.
Okay so maybe I over-analyzed this comment, but in the original vine the girl said "this bitch empty- yeet!" and the video, such as the desert is empty aswell. were you implying that the video is literally empty or do I have an overactive imagination?
The sounds of the distant gunfire really help solidify the wasteland feel and the sense of danger the harsh environment provides.
dominatorN4 its in the video right?
You can also hear a Night Stalker occasionally.
When are the gunshots heard?
Yeah I almost feel like I live somewhere near berlin

@@phocia This is somewhere outside of Primm. If you look closely in the background, you can somewhat see the edge of Primm and the rollercoaster.

one of these just with courier footsteps would be perfect. Like a walk in the wasteland ambiance i guess.
That's something I've been considering for a while, so I guess I'll have to get to it!
run not walk
I wouldn't mind a four hour version. This is the perfect atmosphere for the classic fallouts with no music.

Agree.Needs to have 'Ambience Sounds' or 'ASMR' in the name.

May I suggest doing ambients for the metro 2033/last light games?

I'll study the possibility, maybe a mod or console access, I don't know. But thanks for the idea and the info!
I have played FONV for five hundred hours, but I honestly don't remember any of this.
maybe you had the radio on all the time.
11:26 Dynamic Event or what? I heard an explosion lol.
Fallout has many of those little things all over, it makes for really compelling and varied soundscapes. I love it.
Will you also make Fallout 3 Wasteland ambience?
Combine this with Biglsman's playlist and you've got patrician-tier ambiance
Is this the view from Morning Star Cavern?
I don't remember after so long, but it very well might have been from there.

Can you do the Dead Money DLC ambiance?
I'm extracting ambience from other games now. Maybe in the distant future, though. Thanks for watching.
Is it too late to ask for a Freeside version?
Maybe not, since these seem to be regaining popularity.
A couple of people have asked for this, so I will try to do it. Keep posted for news and thanks so much for watching!

Would you mind if I would use this for a video?
I wouldn't mind, but do take into account that this is from a videogame by Bethesda, not me.
