Love your surf fishing videos, just wish our surf here was more productive. Thanks Andy. Just a thought, have you thought about a two hook Snell Rig, which will be ideal for those bigger baits. Be careful with Rays, a lesson learnt.

Hey mate this beach is eight mile creek. Browns is a good one too. Both are next to port macdonnel. There’s a lot of weed about atm though !

Sting from a stingray can kill. Worst sting probably is from the marine catfish, the cobbler.

What kind of hooks are those?
If you can't get a fish take a mullie, there really is nothing more you can do, they are either not there or not going to feed on anything

What rods are you using there mate? I have the ssm 950 reels and looking for pair them up
On the spinfisher mate. Very low cost but does the job for me 👍 if you’re casting heavier baits I’d go up to a prevail

what is legal size i Australia? in New Zealand it is 30cm
depends on state but the state im in its 50cm but most other places its 30cm

@@auslifeandy I've eaten dogfish, caught off the docs in Campbell River Vancouver Island, kinda weird taste, that barramundi looked yumm but that must've been too small, hence the release.
