50 years later? I did not expect that twist! Farming Simulator also does forestry, so perhaps they've combined the mechanics to compete directly. It does fit thematically if you want to clear out some trees to create a new field, so I wonder if field creation is a thing here? Too bad about the lighting issues, though I'm sure there is someone working frantically behind the scenes to sort that out. Maybe an Nvidia driver? As you started looking through the rooms of the house I had flashbacks to House Flipper. Good show!
I don't believe there will be field creation but that would be awesome! Apparently there were other UA-camrs that had the opposite problem to me. Light in the gameplay and dark when it ticked over to 50 years later.
Strange, the 2 other content creators i watched do this demo, had totally different lighting issues to you. For them up to the 50 year cut scene their lighting was normal and then switched to darkness at the cut scene, whereas yours did the exact opposite. I think they then slept and it got light again tho. It does look like the demo is doing one sleep equals one season passing too. Hopefully they fix these issues before june 10th when we get our hands on it. Potentially looks a great game tho. An upgrade in graphics and gameplay to FD1, as they are adding the graphics of LD and some of its gameplay with it too.
That is strange that they were suffering the opposite. I've been in touch with the Dev and am sending them information and screen shots so hopefully they'll be able to sort it out. Thanks for the info and thank you for watching!
well, gee whiz, I hope I didn't sound like a complainer as it wasn't intentional. I was just curious IF the game was set to be that dark, dim (like a haunted, scary type game). I still think it's a cool game and hope you'll continue playing.
Not at all. It's been quite frustrating with the lighting. Still not sure of the cause. Unfortunately the demo ended with this video. It's quite short. I will be doing a series as soon as I get a copy of the EA version!
Oh gosh, your house looks like Norman Bates house. I'm afraid you're going to open a door to find his dead mother. 😰 oh gosh and your walking around in the dark with an axe. We are going to start calling you Norman Bates
Lumberjack dynasty... ah that takes me back. The days when I first found your channel
Many found my channel through that.

I can't wait for the next episode!
