Perfect ending to that film since this song is about reflecting on a lost relationship & mistakes the song’s narrator made by being unfaithful. Much the way Russell Hammond lost Penny Lane in Almost Famous.
I lost my shit when they played this song at the end of Almost Famous when I saw it for the first time. When I watch it now I feel so good inside when the movie ends.

A classic. This might sound weird but I don't care. It doesn't remind me of a lost love, a current love or anything like that. One fine evening several years ago I was walking up one of the higher hills in the Cairngorms and this song kept appearing in my head. It was the time of year when it doesn't get dark until after 2200 hours and I was sitting outside my tent on the summit, sipping whisky and gazing at the view towards distant hills that would also be visible from the village where I grew up. I sat there feeling a mix of happiness and melancholy - hard to describe - maybe because it would be hard to replicate such a moment in the future. Now, though, when I hear this song, it takes me right back to that evening on one of my favourite hills. Anyways, I bloody love this song.

This is my favorite Led Zeppelin song, It's like a time machine for me! Feels like I'm in high school again, Care free, Smoking joints, Zeppelin 3 on the turntable. Good times man, Good times.
My late mom loved this, so much...R.I.P., Mom...
This is such a romantic song. I'm certain that anyone who can pen a song like this must have a beautiful soul.
This song is reminding me of my grandpa that I lived with for 45 yrs.
Page was brilliant on this song
I was not a big fan of this album in my youth but have come to love this album! Anything that is Zeppelin is awesome.
One of my favorites . Some years ago I was at Red Rocks and so Big head Todd and the Monsters they did a killer cover of this .thanks for sharing
My favorite acoustic zeppelin song by far
Makes me feel old in a nice way
As in aging with grace class and dignity!
old in a nice way - that's a first, and something to strive to
Descripción perfecta de cómo me hace sentir cuando la escucho
Every time I hear these tunes, rivers flow from my eyes without trying... no not crying; it's just those memories of music no longer made are so wonderful and I WANNA GO BACK!!!! I genuinely feel sorry for younger generations who didn't get to experience them. And wow did we ever... without phones in our hands. Matches was IT!! 💘 🎵
One of the most underrated led zepp song ever..just love it
La mia ,Tank YOU !😀
The bass line on this is epic!
Beautiful song overshadowed by "Since I've Been Loving You" Would have been famous on Physical Graffiti ❤
The fucking solo man, every single time it comes through, it never misses, Page’s best solo in my opinion and that catergory seems impossible to compare
Apologise for bad English, no good with words x
Page was best to hold a guitar
I do not apologize for bad English, I literally have no respect for this language
@@carlneoh5843 no apology needed 😂
Pure gold masterpiece! Jimmy is a Genious of everything!
*genius
I loved Zep III the first time I heard it many years ago. I mean wow the diversity of songs on this album! I love a lot of rock bands but for me LZ is just thee pinnacle of them all!
