I love buying lacy half circle shawls patterns.
Does the written pattern have instructions on how to make the shawl longer (which rows would be repeated)? Such a beautiful pattern!
It depends on HOW much longer you want to make it. The last section is quite ruffled so you could continue for a few rows without increases. If you wanted to continue with MANY more rows, you would have to includes some increases to account for the additional length in order to keep the fabric flat.
Row 11-13 we have to chain 5 stitches but it is not enough to reach for the next three double crochet… increasing the amount to 7 will it be okay?
Are you sure you are asking about the Sadie sampler shawl? Your question doesn't line up with the pattern for rows 11 - 13.
When crocheting a shawl , if you want to use a smaller yarn like maybe a 0 or a 1 would you use more yarn or not . What if you go bigger like a 4 or a 5? Thank you for your time
Yes generally speaking more yardage for thinner yarns and less yardage for thicker yarns to make the same size of fabric.

ive checked my stitch count repeatedly but mine is still buckling in and all ruffled up, what should i do?
The ruffles ease out as you complete more rows. Steaming or washing relax it as well.

Hi Kristin, I just wanted to make you aware that your written pattern for Row 20 says it ends with "171" sts. but the video says 217 sts. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong before the video came out so I waited for it. I love this shawl so now I will continue on and hopefully meet the number of stitches required.

I found the same thing, but as i went to row 21 and 22 and it worked out i figured it was a typo. Also in the pattern sheet Row 30 states c5. That threw me for a loop too, as i am not an expert, but i got passed that too . I love that this shawl is round not triangle. I want to make another in stripes but not sure where to switch colors. Each change of pattern? I don’t remember my order number to get revised copy

Too fast
There's really no increases in this section? Mine just curls up or stretches so awkwardly. 6 rows of the same stitch count for the lace section has got me stuck mid project. 🥲
It all works out at the end when it’s blocked.
