just ordered the speedmaster bonneville in blue with white pinstriping extras a clock temp gauge rubber tank pads two panniers and padded back rest roll on july when i pick it up only live twenty miles away from the factory so i think i will go after watching your great video,
I have always dreamed of a triumph since i was 14 years old my bedroom wall was covered with triumph and norton posters but the bonneville was always my dream bike, now i am 57 i need something comfortable and the speedmaster fits the bill thank you again for a great video very interesting all the best john from rugby UK ps i have liked and subscribed and clicked the bell.
john kindon you are the man, get that speedmaster set up just the way you want it. I think you made as fabulous choice and hopefully our paths will cross on the future, maybe at the factory again! ~Nate
great footage
Excellent video. Being new to the Triumph brand it was great to get a look at where they are produced. Thanks for making and sharing your tour.
It is amazing how clean and precise everything is in that production plant. Great people too!! Thanks for watching and hope you subscribe for more Triumph fun. Cheers, ~Nate
Bought and paid for rocket 3 owner here 2014 have had it 4 years no problems mad in Hinkley great bike company
Sean: you own a piece of history, enjoy that beast👍🏼. Cheers, ~Nate
@@NateJennings thank-you sir; still trouble 3 love my R3R white stripe!!
Good stuff Nate! You lucky guy, you!
Gus Two Wheeling next mission, Iron Star Motorcycle Rally on Galveston Island in Texas. Stay tuned. Cheers, ~Nate
I've seen the Rocket spy shots! Need a touring version badly!
yeah I think they went the other way from what I saw. Stayed with the Roadster theme and jazzed it up a bunch in different areas. Can't wait until I can talk about it. Cheers, ~Nate
Lovely place,i would like to spent holiday in there😉
What a show
It's changed a bit since I worked there in 93
MrBarrsy68 I bet it has. What was it like in '93? I'm excited to hear....
@@NateJennings It was interesting at first but then it became just a job. I left after 3 years.
Surprised they let you shoot so much inside. Well done. however, after seeing it (the tour Not your video per se (so please I mean no offence to you or your efforts)) I don't think I'll bother going (I had tickets as a gift to go in February but couldn't make it) and since I live over 300 miles away I'm kinda glad I couldn't! What this very simple tour needs is the 'option' of a guided tour by a well read member of staff that can bring the Triumph story to life (not a sh1tty piece of A4) or one of those headsets with a spoken guided tour at all the relevant locations... or BOTH! But (even as a rider and fan of Triumph) the tour as it stands looks so mundane I'd rather eat a cardboard box!
Hey Steve I believe you would get a tour guide if you didn't go during a dealer event like I did. That's the only reason I was allowed to record is that I was a Triumph employee there to experience the place at my leisure with hundreds of ours wandering around at the same time. I encourage you to go as they have an amazing selection of motorcycles from Triumphs long glorious history! Thank you for watching and commenting. Cheers, ~Nate
@@NateJennings I was there yesterday. the tour guide was excellent. You could tell he had worked there for many years and had experience across multiple disciplines. extremely knowledgeable, and I would recommend this tour to anyone in manufacturing. Great factory.
PhysicsHack awesome!! Glad you got the tour😜👍🏼
That's not noise I work in a plant that's quite comparad to the plant I work in we make plastic food trays for frozen food
Ha ha I bet that could get loud. Thank you for watching and commenting. Cheers, ~Nate
Sick of people saying this is made in Thaland.. Yes some are but look at Audi A4 and A5 ..Made in china bmw 5 engines made in uk ..Harley davidson big plant in india toyota honda uk.. so wot
they are, nothing made here any more
This is only an assembly factory ... each parts are made in Thailand ,.. and the boneville line is assembled there ... gj
I was there yesterday, they machine all their cranks and engines on site. Lots of machining going on.
How did you manage to film this Nate? I was there today and they said cameras were prohibited in the factory
Andy I was there as a Triumph employee being given free reign in a tour offered to employees during the global dealer conference that year.
I hate that they shut down production. 😒
hinkley triumph is not triumph, triumph died with merriden.bloor just bought the name .
There are Triumph's made in England, and everything else is a Thaiumph, yes name only
Great looking bikes but underpowered
underpowered? triumph? hardly- triumph has always had stout engines geared for torque- harley is underpowered compared to Triumph
