What an incredible series of videos, and still one more to go. Your continuous raising the bar is documenting history in a beautiful and unique way. Ben, your accomplishments are incredible and inspiring.
Wow, wow, wow Ben!!! That Beach is not only beautiful, but dangerous with all the ice at that beach from the glacier!!! One of your best vlogs yet! For the Dream!!!! 👍 😊
Surfing in a “minefield of Glacier Icebergs” is definitely legendary, period!…loved the fantastic camera work during this entire trip, might be my favorite…the “Aurora Borealis” northern lights was awesome, Glacier Bay beach at sunrise was magical with all the ice chunks 🧊& pieces & the cool colors reflecting off them, & of course The Gravy Man surfing amongst the Glacier Icebergs, absolutely amazing footage indeed!…Happy Holidays to Ben, Jordan, Dennis & the rest of “the Gravy Crew!” 🎄🌊 🤙🏼
Have to say this was one of your best trips - the camera work, the landscapes, the amazing light, some real gnarly surfing in those temperatures- epic trip
So cool Ben! I think one of the best scenic surfing videos that you have ever done. Surfing between those frozen pinballs was amazing. This is a must watch on the big screen TV. Loved this SO much! Thanks for sharing this dream with us!
Im sooooo jealous... been watching you 4 years now... I was snowboarding and had a beautiful 9,4 timber tech... after the wife left I've had to sell everything and move on.... living in Portland Oregon, wrkn 40 hours + a week and living in my car... fun fun... but still watching gives me hope... definitely helps me remember...... maaaannn I would sooo drop everything and do this... very nice Ben
Awesome footage Ben. Very jealous of your whole Icelandic trip. Thanks for taking us all along. I got chills just watching that duck dive! Looks so cooooooold man I just realized, BLACK SAND! I forgot that that place has black sand. I would take a handful of sand with me if I were there.
This is so crazy. You don’t find this kind of content anywhere else except from you Ben. Thanks so much for taking us on the trip of your “The Dream.” So much love. Next time you’re in the Jax area. I’d love to give you a fist bump.
Ended up at Diamond Beach one day a couple months ago. No waves, but I jumped in the lagoon where all the icebergs are.....in only my baggies.....prior to it opening for the day. I had to do it just to be able to say i did.....as Ben says....."For the Dream". Seriously cold. 😂 Only three other people there that thought I was insane. Should have done the beach as well. Thanks Ben.....makes me wanna go back.
I’m watching this in central Vermont…it’s minus 5°….I’ve got a wool blanket wrapped around me, the wood stove cranking ….and watching you carve between the giant ice cubes is setting my teeth to chattering .
Ben siiick!! Also you are not allowed to swim between two floating icebergs anymore bro. That's like playing with floating driftwood. Great vid, for the dream
I'd love to hear what the people on the tour bus and the other tourists said when they saw you grab your board and jumped into the water to surf. Had a nice little crowd on the beach watching you...
... Woww' - Only ole' Ben Gravy can draw a crowd of spectators whilst' surfing inches away from huge icebergs' on thigh-high mush, (i know - they were there for the "Diamonds", lol). Diamonds-in-the-Rough... Mr. Gravy has carved out his own personal Niche' riding waves no-one else would bother with (or would even imagine trying). The advent of the "Soft-Top" surfboard is one huge reason this is even possible - using a leash would be pure stupidity here; and obviously a "hard" board wouldn't last very long bouncing off big chunks of rock-hard ice... Love when the Captain says : "We're pulling down to the beach right now, to - the Highlight of the trip, (in my mind)". If u' wonder why BG' would go to Iceland to surf in the first place, (in December) - here's your explanation... Mr. Novelty-Wave Surfer seeks ultimate novelty-waves, Worldwide. (Plus, add this to the list of Country's he's surfed) - only about 100+ more to go !!! - Time will tell if the Novelty session proves more popular than the "conventional" waves in the rest of the Iceland Series. (So far, not the case)... Regardless, the Iceland sessions were certainly refreshing "outside-the-box" content, compared to the normal Gravy fare' served up by the Admiral (and Co.) - Well Done !!

Heaviest Ben quote I have yet to hear…”Part of the dream is knowing when to wake up.”-Ben Gravy
Massive fourth wall penetrating claim 🤙
Yes, that is an amazing quote! Still processing it -- but surfing amongst mini-icebergs has to be the greatest surfing ever captured!
Think maybe Ben should get a film award for his Iceland series? I do.
What an incredible series of videos, and still one more to go. Your continuous raising the bar is documenting history in a beautiful and unique way. Ben, your accomplishments are incredible and inspiring.
@@michaelkrentzin thanks so much

Thanks for more stoke. Dig the chunky-style surf. Camera tech is getting so good, I bet we'll soon fit separate prime lenses for that thing.

Sea level along the U.S. coastline is expected to rise, on average, 10 - 12 inches by 2050!!
Insanely beautiful or beautiful insanity..perhaps both. Such a stunning place to do what you love.
I was there a month ago not as much snow, but there’s a ton of glaciers
Amazing, he holidays and surfs there like the snow and ice don't exist. 🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿
