With Character Animator, you can import audio files recorded outside of the software and have it analyzed for quick and easy lip syncing. This video shows you how! - Навчання та стиль
it came out perfect. I thought i was going to have to sit in front of my camera, doing voiceover and everything at the same time. Thank you
That's so useful! I'm surprised how far the technology has advanced.
Hi Man, your tutorial is incredible clear and you're so good in explaining all the things. WOW
Looks like an incredible feature and a massive time saver

SO helpful. Thank you so much!
clear and to the point! thanks for sharing!
so helpful! thank you so much!
Thanks for this. It's great. Helpful.
love you !
This helped so much. Its better than doing the video myself and saves a lot of time. Do you know to do eye blink and facial movements that can be added?
For years I've waited for someone to make an Ai program that takes the audio & makes a good mouth animation to the audio. It's so crazy something like that doesn't exist yet. Mouth animation is so tedious & time consuming it makes the process so unenjoyable & grindy, I would love to have this for Lego animations because that would really speed things up & make things more enjoyable! Also longer scripts & more frequent stopmotion uploads.
Yea, it's really annoying. I'm just searching around and it really does seem like so much work.
Surely thats been solved by now? Ai is moving crazy quick, ill have to take a look
@@Gaslight_Productions not solved

Hello! did You tried PAPAGAYO NG? you can import your mouth shapes an the audio, it makes a PNG seqence of the mouth in a folder, then you import the image falder as a video an the in BLENDER use the Addon IMPORT VIDEO AS A PLANE (of the mouth in png)
and at last, with the Shrinkwrap modifier add the plane video to the mouth surface in Blender
Thank you soooooo much bro you saved my life
thank you so much bro
This helped. Thx
Amazing! I was wondering if this would work on an obj file or do it works on a puppet only ?
Great tutorial! Can you export the lip-sync data to after effects? Not as a rendered sequence, but as markers for example. Thanks
Cheers, nice and succinct!
Great video thank you. There is just one thing missing now. The blinking. Where can I edit this after the synchronisation?
Just Subscribed. How do you record facial expressions after you do the visemes?
thanks!! info I am looking for. Would like to see the process of exporting it to the AE timeline for use.. My character was rigged using just Rubber Hose & Joysticks.. but the mouth syncing is tedious.
hi , cool guide , did you use PS to make your character for adobe animator and lip sync?
will appreciate if you give some tips , how to easily me lip sync to character. struggling at this moment to create puppet .
Thank you!!!!!
that's awesome... but how do i add eye movement and hand movement once the audio and mouth movement is written?
thank you
Thank you so much
Thanks man. I was using after effects and Character animate cc is way more comfortable than after effects for character animation
What about applying "Mouth Strength" to the lip syncing. It seems it's only available for the camera
Landed on this video, thanks for the help! I have to ask, what headset are you using? It's very clear sounding. Thanks
Hello mate, I have just seen this tutorial and was hoping maybe you could help me with something. I am a twitch streamer and want to use an avatar in my live streams that will have his mouth animated or move in-time/lip-synced to when I talk through my microphone on the stream. Is this possible? And if so, could you explain how this can be achieved?
Buenisimo Gracias!
Does it work for other languages other than English?
Can you still animate the character doing it this way? I tried it and it synced brilliantly but I can move stuff around
very useful info thank YOU SO MUCH. but how about Syncing with External video is it possible ?? and how
I love this video! After you sync it to the audio though, can you still insert blinking with your character?
yeah that's a different layer though
is there any way to have auto-lip sync work across multiple voices from one single audio-track? I'd love to re-create some moments from my podcast but we only have single-track files now. Would I be able to have this work between two or three voices? or would I have to edit the audio so I eliminate voices 2&3, then another copy where I eliminate voices 1&3 and then a third track eliminating voices 1&2?
I have a question, my character only lip syncing with external audio while he is standing.. can i make him lip sync while he is walking or running from external audio?
thanks bro
Is there a way to motion tween the lip-sync so its less freeze-framed and more natural?
im having issue with audio not playing during recording, its hard for me to guess what dragger to activate without audio. any ideas?
I am looking for a great animator software which you would recommend
Can we do this for videos??
Like syncing audio of one video with another video?
Do you know how long of an audio file it can use? I just tried a 3 minute audio file and it said "Audtio is too long to compute" but I'm not seeing anywhere that says the time limit.
Is there a way to export just a CSV file containing the mouth shapes and their corresponding time?
do we need to pre make different kind of mouth movement? is it possible to do it without doing so
Where do we get character animator? I can't seem to find out
How do I add sounds that it missed and then have it add the correct mouth shape for that as well?
Is it possible to reduce background noise that you record in character animator?
The auto-lip sync is always only about 25% accurate and I'm speaking clear English with no distinguishable accents, any help on how to make the auto-sync better?
Hey Man, nice one. Really needed this. Do you draw the mouths yourself? And as an artist... am I to draw the mouths myself and put it on? Really new to this... 😭
Late answer, but yes. You select the layer in Photoshops and just replace it with your own art. It has a layer for every mouth shape. :)
thanks pal that was sooo usefull as the internal laptop mic is trash
How did you create your character?
What if i have multiple characters and different audio channels in one scene that i want to lip sync????
I changed the audio, and the new audio is longer. When I lip sync, it only goes to where the last audio ended, and goes not further. How do I get lip sync to go to the end of the new audio file?
Is there a way to do voice over with everything you say?
is it possible to freely move hands and auto blink from an external audio while lip sync? plz guide
Hi. Is there any way to morph the mouth like Moho Pro can do?
That's SOOO cool!
Quick question - is this software Mac only? Cheers 🙂
Nope. Its for PC as well.
The audio can be of any language right or it just works with English?
where can i get that mouth pack ??
2:30 Where did all the different mouth positions come from, they seem to have appeared all of a sudden??
it because lipsync turned on
I kinda was looking into doing a South Park Canadian style lipsync with the top half of the head going up and down with the audio. Is this software the best way to do this? If so, are there any tutorials for this specific thing?
You can literally do that in AE itself by linking your waveform to your upper head rotation. Since there are only 2 shapes, open or close that should be easy to do.
Is that possible to do this in gta v charactor? If i want to give dialogue to the player...can this software do that?
is your gta character a flat 2d cartoon character...? No it definitely isn't so there you go. So many dumb questions on this video
How to add hand and body movement without using webcam?
It looked like your character has his mouth moving while you're talking even though you were not recording. is the rig responding to your voice, your mouth movement through the camera, or both?
Yea it can animate your voice and face live from webcam and mic. It's how they did the live homer simpson video awhile back. Pretty fun to mess with
is there a way to move the face of your character Via face cam DURING a pre-recorded audio? if I press record and begin the audio, the mouth lipsyncs and all, but it turns off my face-cam during the recording.
yeah just disable the lipsync
How to use it in live steam on UA-cam
Hello, A quick question... How can I apply this method on a 3d software like Maya? Thanks
you 100% can't
I am surprised how easy to use it.
i want this thing for blender 2.9 and not just in addon in main setting
but i cant move his hand if i did the lips sync dont work
How much is it
Does anyone know if Bodymovin plug-in is compatible with Character Animator (AfterEffects). In other words, how can I export the Character animation into flutter?
character animator and after effects are completely different software. So no, bodymovin is not compatible. Best you can do is render out the mouth image sequence and use that in ae with bodymovin, but then you are dealing with rasterized images so you wont have your tiny shapes only export which means you might as well not be using bodymovin to begin with.
the mouth wont move unless i speak
pls help
you forgot to tell how to export that lip sync into image sequences for video edition
Im new to character animator btw
hi
thanks but all tutorials are same. nobody thinks about the chin. chin must be move with lips while speaking. how do we achieve this with auto lip sync?
ua-cam.com/video/_j_v0RLQa8k/v-deo.html look at this video of Daves' it discusses it a little bit. I searched high and low. What he doesn't mention, though is that I believe you need to also make a separate "jaw" layer that's identical to JUST the bottom portion of the face so that you can't see it's separate.(he discusses it in some other video, I don't remember which.) Then put an anchor on the top and bottom of that piece and call it Jaw. You then need to give it a "nutcracker jaw" behavior... or according to that tutorial linked it may be built into "lip sync" behavior now anyway. Good luck, it's a beast.
my method is drawing the mouth frame by frame
wow
2:10
doesnt work. Won't drag
The lip sync visemes didn't appear in my timeline
I tried a Photoshop file and it worked. Apparently Illustrator files don't support viseme editing currently.

Where does the other mouths come from
you obviously have to create a mouth design for every phoneme
You're leaving out a lot of steps to set this up. You can't post a video of the final step and present it as a tutorial.
try gacha life character
Thank you so much
