- Morgan accompanies Claire to the Marine Science Center to spread her mother's ashes with the sea lions, which was her last wish. Claire feels weird about the whole thing, until Morgan convinces her to go with it and just make the moment what it should be. Whether it’s blocking out all social relations or riling others into competing against you they put on a good act in order to become the best. They act as if they don’t care but in reality they care greatly for others however they are restricted to harbor suppressed emotions in order to move up in the educational field. I know this well because I’m one of them.

The acting from Antonia these last 2 episodes was out of this world! I'm glad the writers gave her a chance to shine!

This is my favorite episode, Claire is such a strong person but she should realize that it's ok to show little emotions once in a while.
What in the hell.. They better continue with Claire's story cause that girl has something severe going on and really needs help. (Which I'm hoping she gets from Shaun because she was there for him when he was fired by Han.)
And a countless times before and after that. They have a good friendship going.

While the scene at the end may not sit well with many people as well as myself, it opens up a great opportunity for a really nice character ark for Claire, and quite possibly Morgan. What I interpret this as is Claire becoming so deep in grief that she begins to make the same mistakes her mother did. It’s a simple concept, but knowing the show, they can make it a very beautiful narrative. I can’t wait for what’s to come. This show has stolen my heart, and still shows endless potential. Keep up the great work. ❤️
Maybe Shaun ends up saving Claire from herself.

I did not expect Claire's story to take this turn. The writers really played us like that, killing her mom when they were just starting to get along, and on Claire's happy day too! Im here to see what theyre going to do next. I love Claire and I hope she can get through this.

I think that they were scared of the difference in seniority and so put him with Dr Lim instead.
But it's that difference which would make for a very good storyline. How would colleagues handle it once it became known for eg?

i see people commenting on how the death was random but that’s exactly how it is. when i lost my mom to leukemia she died in nine months right before Christmas. no one had even known she was that sick. death hurts and it is not planned and you can’t prepare and everyone deals with it differently

Ms. Thomas knocked it out of the park. I was very touched in spite of being sick and tired of Amazing Grace. Her version was original: she was singing it from inside her character’s grief and also subtly varying the melody, sometimes putting the emotional accents on different notes than the usual ones. Too bad about the red light in the alley at the end, however. That was a little overdone.
When Antonia sings, you could almost hear her British accent in it 🎶

@@jehustrachan6015 not a hater. Just speaking my opinion. It's not a good show imho. I've seen like seasons 13 to 18 mainly just because of Maggie but also Alex and Amelia. Miranda is great too.
But Meredith, like many of the main characters, is toxic. The plot is fine I guess. It's the same as the rest of the genre. Like you said, a show doesn't make it 15 seasons without someone liking it. But that doesn't mean it doesn't have problems. Shows that fit into popular culture often do because they fall into age old tropes and lazy writing due to having a committed fan base.
Kyra The show has been airing for 16 seasons, not 18. You have literally watched the worst part of the series. Now it’s more like a soap opera but from season 1 to season 5, it was excellent. Praised by critics and even appeared on several all-time rankings made at the time (2005-2011). It also used to secure multiple nominations each year at the Emmys. I can asure you that early GA is 3847722 better than Good Doctor. Nowadays it’s pretty bad tho. Anyhow, I cannot trust your judgment if you see GA for Maggie, who is the worst character the series has ever seen. But anyway.
