The fact that anyone could criticise you say's more about them, than it does about you. Their inexperience means that they do not understand that the invisible bottom of the canal can mean so much regards how the boat moves. Ignore them Heidi, you have travelled many more miles than most of them will ever do. Keep it warm hun. XX
With regards to those picking fault at your approach to narrowboating, ignore them! You doan amazing job at the tiller, on your ropes and all while filming and capturing your life, amazing. Single handers are a breed of their own, never put off by what obstacles are ahead, getting stuck in and in my experience just you try to keep them onboard while you assist them through a lock. Keep up all your hard work, keep smiling and enjoying your life your way ❤

Heidi I’ve not been well last few days so I’ve gone rte thru yr videos from start to finish and I just adore them all. Your mum and dad and family are just lovely, you’re a lucky lady. I sobbed my heart out when little Pudding passed on what a little angel! I’m sure he’s gained his wings. I love all the narrowboat channels but yours by far is the best. It’s your sense of humour and yr love of life that is just addictive. My hubby and daughters are now watching and we all adore you. Not sure which NO IT ALL is suggesting you’re doing something wrong but just ignore them! Some people are proper ar*e holes. Hhi Heidi pet, missed you yesterday as we went into town"J" had to see the heart Dr ,he gave her a good report.Then we did some shopping as we only go into Saint John about once a month. The Teamwork sure paid off for you all, well done you. We have an extra season here commonly known as Mud season Most of our snow is gone and today was gorgeous blue skies and temps in the low 20's c so soon will be able to work in the garden I'll be putting the snow blower in its corner and getting the tractor all ready for the liming dethatching aeration then fertilization and repair of any frost kill just so I can mow it every week and do my patterns lik ethe Martians do in wheat fields in England *LOL* ....still it keeps me happy. All this and housework too not to mention the gouDmet cooking...watch out for me on Nigella's show . Take care my Piratical darlin ,may the towpaths dry up and the locks become easier and the convoy continue. Luvz ya lots XXX ❤❤❤

I'm in Alaska & we still have 3+ ft (One meter) of snow on the ground and is still snowing now at Easter and 21 degs F (-6C) NOT cold to us, no humidity. I love your music that you write. I also like that you show on the map were you are trying to go and the labels where you are at that moment so I'm following you on my map. We have an extra season here commonly known as Mud season Most of our snow is gone and today was gorgeous blue skies and temps in the low 20's c so soon will be able to work in the garden I'll be putting the snow blower in its corner and getting the tractor all ready for the liming dethatching aeration then fertilization and repair of any frost kill just so I can mow it every week and do my patterns lik ethe Martians do in wheat fields in England *LOL* ....still it keeps me happy. All this and housework too not to mention the gouDmet cooking...watch out for me on Nigella's show .

I'm in Alaska & we still have 3+ ft (One meter) of snow on the ground and is still snowing now at Easter and 21 degs F (-6C) NOT cold to us, no humidity. I love your music that you write.
