I've noticed when someone dives Lifeweaver he's pretty defenseless, it's too slow to realise what's going on and switch to your weapon, he definitely is going to need peeling for

Not really. First it still allows lifeweaver to use the rest of abilities and it also blocks ults, pathways and projectiles
